    Speaker Biography: Shonda Rhimes is an award-winning television producer and writer well-known for her groundbreaking series "Grey's Anatomy" and "Scandal." She is also the executive producer of the acclaimed series "How to Get Away with Murder." Rhimes has received numerous awards, including a Golden Globe, a Peabody Award, a Writer's Guild of America Award for best new series and multiple NAACP Image Awards for outstanding writing in a dramatic series and outstanding drama series. Her new book, "Year of Yes: How to Dance It Out, Stand in the Sun and Be Your Own Person," is a call to arms by one of the most powerful women in Hollywood, in which she reveals how saying "yes" changed her life. Rhimes lives with her family in Los Angeles.
