We need a points system that will inhibit a license holder from renewing their license if they get a certain number of tickets per year. Changes need to be made because I feel like a lot of these people just keep getting tickets and are repeat offenders every week or month. People in the PH won't learn until you take things away from them. Driving or Riding and having a license is a privilege and not a right.
I agree on this. In some parts of Europe, they will punch a hole on your license for every violation you make, then if you accumulate a certain number of holes, your license will be revoked.

Let's get real here. Where are the actual walkable sidewalks there? I'd rather have actual walkable sidewalks and get people who are not using them properly ticketed as well.
Well the sidewalks are there. But some parts are too dangerous to walk on when it's raining - for example those parts that were converted to steep parking ramps. Another problem as highlighted in the video, is when plants are left on the sidewalk, causing them to turn green and super slippery. A lot of these issues could easily be handled by the Barangay, by simply telling people it's not allowed - the very moment they start to do it.
@@GadgetAddict All directs to Lack of information decimation from the Barangay Chairperson. I still believe people will follow rules, as long as the rules are properly made aware to them.

The thing is, it doesn't just affect the rider, if he smashes his head and dies. What if you're the other motorist that was involved.in an accident with him? You'll be arrested for reckless imprudence, even though a helmet might have saved his life. Aside from that, more likely it's shared resources, government resources, that will be used to assist a rider that has an accident. Again, if he was wearing a helmet, there's a higher chance of him standing up and walking away with minor injuries, compared to not wearing a helmet. Some LGUs have already started to pass ordinances that say they won't provide medical assistance to riders that have an accident without a helmet.
Then if the rider has an accident or worse fatal death, the family will find a way to put the blame on the MMDA or the government that they don't enforce the law strictly.Victim mentality is our specialty sadly😅.Whats even funny is that foreign tourists or foreigners who have settled here follow our laws more than our people.
