    Thank you for sharing! I've been to Caddo Lake but didn't venture out kayaking. Would love to go back and kayak the lake.

    Awesome! I love the Caddo Lake Area! I was eating at a small dinner in Uncertain, TX attached to an old lady’s house a few years back and tried to pay with my debit card. She told me she couldn’t process the card, but would gladly take a check. I told her I was from DFW and she said it’s ok I trust you. Wow, I was touched by her courtesy. 👍 like going back in time there.

    We went a few weeks ago and LOVED IT! We put in at Johnson's Ranch and it was perfect to put it. Everyone was super nice and helpful.

      Thanks for watching! Glad to hear that this place has been added to your list, you will thoroughly enjoy it. I hear the summer is pretty because of all the lily pads with white blooms all over the place!

      Bob - Glad to hear and glad to hear you enjoyed it! What time of year did you go there? It really changes in what you see from Summer to Winter. Have a great one!

    Great video, kayaking Caddo Lake is something every Texas paddler should do. Look into the Caddo Lake WMA canoe and kayak launch, from there you see all of Carters Chute and go on to Goat Island. Be sure and stop at the State park and get a permit to use the WMA ramp.

    • @KayakCliff

      Is the WM a ramp in the state park? Or is it up by Carter’s chute. Do you have an address?

      tpwd.texas.gov/huntwild/hunt/wma/find_a_wma/list/?id=104§ion=directions This is a very unique canoe ramp. You launch into a thick cypress forest and follow old Texas license plates out to the main trail.

    Man I haven’t kayaked in Caddo ever since they caught that 13 foot alligator 😬 3-4 yrs ago.

    • @KayakCliff
      @KayakCliff  4 года назад +1

      That’s what the trusty Glock is for...😉 But only if it means me harm. Alligators 🐊 tend to leave you alone if you leave them alone. Safe paddling!

      Kayak Cliff unless glock came out with a 50 cal, it’ll feel like a mosquito bite to a 13 footer 😂 safe paddling
