i’m so sorry. this is more than one person can bear. it is too big a genius, too big a story, and it is something so beautiful and monstrous. i am so, so guilty of being a part of this thing that you’re now so scared of. i don’t want to be a part of the audience if it means hurting you, but i don’t want to let this story lay to rest after it was unearthed and given.
i suppose this is an apology of sorts? for being a spark of dead grass given life in the wildfire. i give you my strongest blessings and well wishes, and i want you to be safe and healthy above all. i want to see this story complete, but that’s not as important as your own safety. it is…a hard burden to think about.
