Buying the RC1 was one of the best choices I made and have been loving everytime I get to use it! RC2 is on my radar for an upgrade in the future! Thank you for taking the time and effort to making these great tools available! No one else is offering these quality guns at this price! It was either suffer with the eastwood starter or save $5k haha The hero we needed!
Just an FYI, while adding an 8' ground rod may be a good idea for powder coating, it must (should)be done to NEC code in the USA. Long story short, according to code all grounding rods should be at the same location or be tied together. In other words if your powder coating booth and system are at the South end of a 100' long building and the electrical service panel and building ground is at the North end? the ground rod you added needs to be attached to the main building ground at the other end. If you drive a rod in the yard, parking lot or even the concrete slab on your shop floor for your booth then 120' of copper wire needs to installed outside so the ground potential is equal at both rod locations. I'm not an electrician and I didn't sleep at a Holiday Express last night either Lol. What I do know is that after taking 3 days to fix a crazy electrical problem myself, I had to get a real electrician in to figure out why we would randomly lose half of our outlets and were also getting shocked whenever someone would wash their hands while the floor was wet underneath! Very dangerous and someones poor grounding choice involving a radio tower. All from an "extra" grounding rod that was tied to some water pipes that were connected to another ground and also tying the ground and neutral blocks together in a sub panel or something like that? Bottom line? Unless you want a perm or picture in the newspaper please make sure you do it correctly.
Just ordered the RC-2 system can’t wait to get into powder coating. I picked this set up over all others hopefully I made a good choice. I look forward to learning and growing with the channel
Just purchased an rc2! Super exited hope the wait to the uk isn’t super long. Can you please make a video on how to adjust kv and amps according to what your spraying
Hey! Really like your vids! I recently bought a RC-2 and the results are amazing! Thank you for the shipping!! I just have one question: What do you use for part prep? Do you wipe parts with acetone(or smh. else) or just blow it off after blasting? Hope you can help me :)
Thank you! I’m glad to hear that 🤘🏼 Typically you shouldn’t use a rag on blasted parts. It will leave fibers all over your part. I just use a blow gun on my air line to clean my parts after blasting
When u shot this video clips of using the new RC2. This is all without any of the upgrades? Just how it comes when u purchase it off tour site? I really like this gun, an am very intrested in purchasing one. Is the electrostatic triggered by the actual trigger on the gun its self or... did i jus over look the foot pedal or button? Lol. Also is this 110 or 220?
The translucent cup is another one I offer separately on the website. The clear hopper that I shoot the wheel and teal/pink frame with comes with the system. The system comes with everything in the picture and description on the website. The charge is trigger by the trigger on the gun. The system will accept both voltages. It comes with a standard US 110 plug. If using in a different country all you will need is an adapter. www.royalcoatspowdercoating.com/product-page/rc-2
Yes, unfortunately there’s no other way to coat the springs. Because of this, I just make sure to hang them where the void will be facing down so it won’t be seen.
What was the first gun you used. It was yellow. but tip looks different than mine ! I have your first gun. Might have to get this new one. ....Thanks for Video..
Old Black Jack powder from prismatic. If you’ve ever purchased black Jack from prismatic you’ll know what I mean. That stuff clumps up after a week of being opened, at least for me. So just had to give it a slight shake to re fluff the powder in the container.
@@3obardThawn3 you can’t coat a long block with bearings, seals, gaskets, heads, etc. if you don’t want to disassemble painting would be your best route.

Absolutely! I will work on putting something like that together.

Do you ever spray parts hot or only at room temp? Like if you were doing a base and a clear top?
I never spray clear hot, always at 130 degrees or less

@@royalcoatspowdercoating ok awaome man thankyou for the videos and for the responce I'll deff be purchasing something from you this week.
does the RC1 or 2 work in Europe (Germany) with 230V?
Yes! You will just need a plug adapter. The unit accepts 100-240v
Does putting the bolt through the valve block the powder from getting behind it
That frames colors remind me of maimi subs logo.
How do you cut the tape you used on frame, a sharp circle attachment of some sort?
I use a plotter when I need perfect circles. If I have a nice edge I just use a fresh xacto blade
Will there be any sales soon? Looking to pick up an RC-2 ASAP.
Hey! I currently have no set sales on schedule

Hi im interested in purchasing the RC 2 I'm based in South Africa Johannesburg I'd to know how will it take for it to arrive at my door
International shipping typically takes 6-10 business days.
Do you still need a compressor set up for this?
Yes you will need an air compressor to run this system
Going to order soon. Thanks for the video. Can I email you on how to use the micro amps? Coming from the rc1.
Of course! royalpowdercoats@gmail.com
What are you using to block and stuff the holes
kapton tape, silicone blocks/gasket
Where the hook is at hanging the springs toward the end, will it leave a mark on the spring?
Yes, unfortunately there’s no other way to coat the springs. Because of this, I just make sure to hang them where the void will be facing down so it won’t be seen.

What was the first gun you used. It was yellow. but tip looks different than mine ! I have your first gun. Might have to get this new one. ....Thanks for Video..
These are both RC-2's the yellow one is the same gun. It was just a sample color before I decided on the final color of the grayish-blue color.
@royalcoatspowdercoating looked like different tip on it.
You were using 2 different guns. Which one was the rc2?
They’re the same gun other than color. The yellow one was just a sample color.
What’s the difference in the grey gun and the orange one?
They’re the same gun. I used the yellow one for testing purposes until I finalized the color. The grey is the color I am offering.
What kind of gun you use to get your surface temperature
I use this one: amzn.to/3QynQ6W

I will not be offering any custom colors at this time, only the color of the system on the website.
Can you do an long block (engine )???
It would need to be completely disassembled to be powder coated
@royalcoatspowdercoating 0_ok even if it is brand new. I haven't installed it.

Game changer 💪🏻
I'm pretty pumped about this one!
Loving mine!!
Glad to hear!
No matter what I tried with the rc1 I couldn't get it to do a 2nd coat properly. The rc2 will do 3 and 4 coats efficiently so far.
Glad to hear the RC-2 is working well for you!
Dang looks like I'm late to the sale party
Not being mean…. But when you say aaaaummmm every other word it makes it impossible to watch.
Go back and count how many times you say it.
Aaaaaummm okay 🤷🏼♂️
