2020+ Can-Am Spyder LED Afterburner Run, Brake & Turn Signals
Our 2020+ Can-Am Spyder RT afterburner tail lights are custom-made PCB boards that have been specifically designed to fill the plastic inlays just below the factory tail lights, on both the right and left side of the bike. They feature Running Lights, Brake Lights, and even sequential turn signals for a super custom look. As you can see once installed these Afterburner LEDs bring the tail end of your Spyder alive, adding substantial rear-end visibility while out on the open road. The circuit boards are even coated with a smooth hand-laid epoxy resin, making them easy to clean, while protecting them from mother nature.

Good addition with a minor short fall. Breaks lights work great. If someone says they didn't see the bike, they shouldn't have been driving. The problem?? The turn signal. Very weak and they really can't been seen unless up on the unit. I believe that they should have used 2 or 3 lines for the signal..
Firstly they are nice looking but there's a few minor and major shortcomings for this product. I have installed many many various TricLED lighting kits on many Spyders on two generation bike platforms. They look addon when bone stock so i put a light window tint on them to tone them down when NOT illuminated, secondly the back of the PCB has eeprom chips, resisters, diodes and solder joints that are exposed under the two way tape on the back and are not protected by anything but that 2 way tape. Thirdly the four wires that are soldered to the PCB are VERY delicate and are NOT protected in any way shape or form at their solder points and i can foresee future corrosion, oxidation and joint failure issues after being in service after some time. Fourthly the small 4way connector from the light is NOT a weather packed connector. All in all they are a nice looking product but for the money asked they seriously need these design flaws rectified.
Thx for the feedback. I'll pass it on to the MFG. I know they're working on a Gen 2 that's set to launch on our site later this year that will be lightly smoked and has the wiring directly out the back of the PCB board.
That's great news.. I did forget to mention though that TricLED do stand behind their products and are virtualy hassle free to get warranty replacements of defective items.
Just ordered 2 sets of the Gen 2 version. Excited to get them installed on our bikes (‘20 RTL & ‘22 S2S). ❤
I just ordered all those lights for the back including side markers, how do I wire all those harnesses up to make everything work?
Hello William, both the Afterburner Lights and the Saddle Side LED Reflectors use the same OE harness for power. If you purchased both, you'd simply daisy chain the connectors together to get power to both mods. Thanks!
Can you do an update that references the 2022 RT Limited? The saddle bags attach differently.
We do not have a 2022 RT Limited at the shop regretfully. My apologies.
I had to unscrew 9 screws for the 2022 saddle bags on each side, that was the only difference from the 2020 models.
where did the replacement white spyder badges come from that replaced the stock BRP badges? Where available?

Is it me or does the brake light part of this not appear very bright compared to running light?
It's hard to tell in the video.. but the running lights and brake lights are extremely bright in person.

Do they work for the 2021 RT Limited?
Yes they do, but you'll have to first remove the top case.
Yes they do... As stated before you have to remove the top case because I have a top case and I have the afterburning lights and I love them

what size drill bit did you use for the wire hole?
We used a step drill bit to make the hole just large enough to fit the LED plug through.
