- It's been a while, hasn't it? (Memories but it's a Sarvente and Ruby Cover)
Yeah. I really wanted to do another cover with Ruby since I really like her voice but I needed someone else to pair her with in order to do a song cover. Then I read about Ruby's backstory and it's really depressing. So I tried to work that story into the BCU as well, with Ruby having met Sarv after running away from home. Then after a few years, they managed to run into each other and sing a song together. This is also just me trying to create another sort of Senpai and Tankman situation where in I pair two unlikely characters and have them sing songs together. Maybe one day the two duos will interact with each other. That'll be fun. Anyways, hope you enjoy!

My headcanon behid this: When Ruby is not friend with CJ yet she is alaways going to church to pray and ask for help, she always does that because canonically, Ruby is a victim of child abuse or abuse in general by her own parents. One time Sarvente is in the church about to do some prayers, on one of the church seats she saw a girl sobbing she looks like she is having problems, Sarv decide to approach the girl then ask "what's wrong little girl?" She asked, Girl responded with "Oh I am sorry maa'm I.. I'am going to leave now." Sarv graps Ruby's arm and replied "It's ok church is a place where people discuss their problems, what is your name?" She replied "R-Ruby is my name" Sarv asked "that's a pretty name what is your problem tell me, maybe I can help." Ruby replied with "I have problems with my parents unlike any parents they are different they don't really support me on my singing, and besides from that it get worser." Sarve then said "What!? don't let people like them keep you away from what you want continue your singing and prove them wrong." After this conversation Ruby and Sarv become friends. Ruby continue her career and become part of CJ's musical band, and then this happened. Two best friends reunite once again.

I mean, honestly, this fits. They both have soothing songs, soothing voices it’s just calm. Where as senpai and tankman are like EH EH O OOH OH EH OH EH OH EH, EH EH EH OH HO OH EH OH EH OH UGH! (I guess a mix of thorns and ugh??? Oh also I’m not saying tankman and senpai are the same, all I’m saying is that compared to their voices and songs, they’re pretty similar.

My headcanon for this (I guess):
When Ruby finally got her license she was able to get out of her abusive parents house, but first thing she did was on in the church and pray for her parents not to find her again, Sarv then finds Ruby her sobbing a little and decided to talk with her.
"Hey little girl why are you sobbing?"
"O-oh! s-sorry m-ma'am"
"It's fine! What's your name?"
"M-my name? I-its R-Ruby"
"My name is Sarvente!"
Ruby gave Sarvente a worried look, Sarv then notices and asked her
"Hey.. Why were you sobbing earlier?"
"O-oh! I-its just t-that.."
"Hey.. You can tell me, I'll try to help in any way I can Ruby.."
"W-well o-okay..."
"S-so when I was a child I was a-abused b-by m-my p-parents I didn't know w-why but they a-abused me till...."
"Till what?"
"They.."
"They cut out my eye.."
"What that's terrible!"
"B-but I got my license and d-drove outta there..."
"Hey I'm glad that you drove out of there... But I just hope that they don't find you again.."
"Y-yeah... S-same.."
"You shouldn't let yourself back down from the past try and focus on the future!"
"I-im not really a good therapist heh... But I hope that it helped...!"
