Rust:
When an iron or steel is exposed to moist air or mixture, a reddish brown layer is formed on the iron surface. This reddish brown layer is called Rust and the phenomenon is known as Rusting.
MECHANISM:
When a droplet of water falls on an iron, the solid iron under the droplet oxidizes.
At the anode, the metal iron undergoes oxidation to form the ferrous ion with the loss of electrons.
Electrons that are free at the anode flow through the metal iron to the cathode area.
Soluble oxygen in the water accepts these liberated electrons and form hydroxide ions.
Within the droplet, the hydroxide ions can move inward to
react with the ferrous ions moving from the oxidation region.
By reacting with the hydroxide ion, ferrous ions form ferrous hydroxide.
ferrous hydroxide is then oxidized by oxygen to form ferric hydroxide, which is known as RUST.
So, Rust consists of hydrated ferric oxides, and, ferric oxide-hydroxide.
Very good

Why you add sad song
because it's sad to see iron getting corroded(rusted) 😏
Thank you from Algeria 🇩🇿
Thanks
