    Avoid using aluminum vessels, as they can react with the ingredients and cause the milk to separate when adding jaggery. Using steel or brass ensures the milk remains smooth, allowing the jaggery to blend seamlessly with the rice and milk, preserving both the flavor and purity of the prasad, And Cook in low heat 🙏
    Recipe for Bellam Paramannam:
    Ingredients:
    1/2 liter milk
    1 glass of soaked rice
    1 tsp cardamom powder
    1.5 glass jaggery powder (adjust sweetness to taste)
    Clarified butter (ghee)
    Cashew nuts and raisins
    Optional: Mudapappu (cooked yellow lentils)
    Instructions:
    Boil Milk: In a steel or brass vessel (avoid aluminum), boil 1/2 liter of milk.
    Add Rice: Once the milk is boiled, add 1 glass of soaked rice and cook until the rice is half done.
    Flavor: Add 1 tsp cardamom powder and stir well.
    Add Jaggery: When the rice is fully cooked, add 1.5 glasses of jaggery powder (adjust to taste). Stir well and reduce heat to the lowest.
    Avoid Separation: If you’re worried about milk separating, melt the jaggery in a separate pot, cool it, and then mix it with the rice.
    Simmer: Let it cook on low heat, stirring occasionally to prevent burning at the bottom. Cook for 10 minutes.
    Prepare Toppings: In a separate pan, heat some clarified butter and fry cashew nuts and raisins.
    Serve: Add the fried nuts and raisins to the paramannam.
    Serve hot and offer it with love and devotion to Maa Kalaratri. 🙏💖
    For extra richness, mix in some mudapappu (mashed yellow lentils) and ghee before serving.
