Father of two here, with memories of going to an antenatal session, seeing a lesbian couple there and wondering how they had become pregnant. Now I know! I find it especially moving that one of you supplied an egg whilst the other is carrying the baby; the child will be part of both of you.
Good luck on your journey through pregnancy, birth and parenthood. There is nothing in life that will affect or change you more - you will know pain and tiredness like you've never experienced, but you will also feel love like you've never experienced, not only for your baby but for each other.
Since you've been having such strong symptoms and testing positive so early, maybe it's twins! Hope you have a healthy pregnancy ❤️

Sometimes the carrier dna cells cross the placenta barrier but not enough to change the genetic make up of the child. (Idk if I explained that right but that’s my understanding of it)
