Same. The issue with her is her launchers are all easily blocked. By crouching. Her overhead is easily blocked by because the animation is slow. She can get high damage if she hits, but hitting is extremely rare.
Good stuff. Try throwing out the lantern to control the air and after anticipating panic jumps. Free combo right there. I would incorporate b3 , 4 more to close distance. Very good hit box. And also the easiest string to hit confirm into combos. Also b, f4 is a great whiff punish in some situations. D, b 3 is a good answer when the opponent gets to focused on pressure and thinks it's always their turn. Not always safe but if you see them getting to comfortable boom ...the perfect "gtfo me" lol Good matches though!
Dope Li mei is sick are you going to try for elder god rank? Those exclusive li mei ghoul skins are to cool not to go for it! Also I play li mei and her real anti airs are standing 3, DB3, and lantern. Standing 1 is no good. she's like a secret top 10 but has some execution barriers. Like her instant overhead special. And her short normals make battles with shao, and others with great long range mids difficult

I love playing li mei. My only complaint is she feels so stubby. Good zoning but her normal attacks have no range
Agreed, you gotta be like right in the opponents face to do a stand 1 or down 1 lol
But she gets plus frames for days. Use lanterns and get set ups to open the opponent up.
Same here for season 2 Li Mei and scorpion. Doing pretty well with them so far. But always room for improvement.

Her s3 has a good vertical hitbox for aas but Johnny's j3 is hard to anti dont blame that one on li mei lol
I did like Li Mei when posting in practise and her character in game is good. I just bought mk1 and am slightly overwhelmed by kameos 😅
