Well the actual point of the game is to hit the object ball and the other cue ball while your cue ball has already hit at least 3 cushions, which calls for much greater precision and cue ball placement than any "hole" pool game. The player who reaches first the required points wins the game!
It is a pity that the quality of the video is so poor. And the noise! Samy played very stressed all the time. He wanted to win too much. Caudron scares everybody! Anyone of them (including the semifinalists Blomdahl and Mercx) would have been a worthy champion.
lol, I'm used to hearing romanian/korean/ect commentary and ignoring them... It took me some seconds to realize that the commentary in this video is actually in greek, which is my native language x)
You my friend are plainly ignorant... 3-cushion billiards is a much more difficult and strategic game than American 8-ball or 9-ball for example, which requires huge amounts of concentration and precise calculations. P/S: Playing billiards with no holes is like playing football without goal posts.
Don't get me wrong the shots they do is impressive. But no one wins, All this proves is that you can show off and make money. I could OWN these people at pool.
3-cushion is also much more punishing as a game and takes a lot of character for a player to believe in his feel without losing a relaxed and consistent stroke.
semih sayginer it could be the best in the world in trick shots the fantasy is his strenght , but in a regular competición is another thing, even i can say many mexicans. champions beat him easy,
I played pool all my life, and switched to 3-C 20 years ago. With an advanced perspective of both games---check my page if you doubt---I can tell you simply: 3-C is to pool as chess is to checkers. These are both 3-C World Champs. If you don't think they can handle pool, search YT for the Blomdahl-Reyes match 6 yrs ago, where Blomdahl (another 3-C World Champ) convincingly beats Efren 9-5 in 9-B!! If you're a real player, you can NOT miss their mastery, and IT IS readily transferable to pool.
Oh and how is it more difficult? The main objective just looks like they're trying to hit the other ball. How the fuck is that hard? You play 9 ball and you have to be precise, but you also have a role to play defense. Plus in 9 ball you can win after the first opening shot. In this game... No one wins ever XD
