Deutsche Welle.

Most of them are talking about things they don't have and that would like to get from a president, and then most of them go saying that they want the president (Putin) who has never offered such things. Crazy. It's like "Oh, I want to get my life better instead of this miserable life", and when asked what president they want the go "Oh, I want the president that is making my life miserable". In any case it is very sad that even the people who don't support Putin have fallen into the massive propaganda that told them for decades that besides Putin nobody is able to properly govern Russia. When I was there I could tell how almost everyone was afraid of a change and a new president, even the opposers of Putin, like a very very very extremist conformism.

    1. Russia was never provoked by NATO to attack Ukraine. Having listened to Russian state media for more than 20 years, I can guarantee you that no European state media has ever used such language.
    2. Based on your reasoning, Russia's CSTO membership would require that its neighbors in Europe view it as provocative?
    3. A national referendum on Ukraine's separation from Russia and establishment of a new nation was held in 1991. Every oblast, including the Crimea, cast a vote in favor of it.
    4. The Ukrainian constitution stipulates that the entire nation, not only the supporters of partial independence, must vote on the issue. I believe that none of the oblasts within the Russian Federation would be permitted to vote only in favor of independence.
