Hey dude!!! Future advice the 2 screws behind your stator are impact screws!!! You’ll damage them if you don’t use impact screwdriver to take them out and put them back in!!!
Awesome I found this video very helpful. Thanks for taking the time to make this video. I was doing valve clearance for the first time and took the cam gear off because it wasn't aligning up with tdc. Well I had no idea what I was doing and pretty much messed it up I think. But your video helped me put it back together correctly. Thanks again.
You can remove the oil pump sprocket really easily, but it does require removing the transmission housing, clutch assembly, and oil pump assembly. The shaft has a wide slot on the opposite pump end of the pump shaft that you can use a large flat screwdriver in. Kind of time consuming to get to the pump, but if you're pump sprocket is worn out, it's the only way. I did mine today and it took an hour. My sprocket had NO teeth left. It was completely smooth, like the roller that goes in the cylinder!
Donn DIY alternatively you can tie a thread to the chain and when pulling it out that thread will go across so you can tie that to new chain and pull the thread to raise the chain towards the head
I have bought several videos and I work on these engines all the time usually talk and problems but I have never seen that cam tensioner bolt I know that the bolts there didn't know what it was for thank you for the brief description of where it's at and how it works I didn't know that's where it was on this particular style engine
correct me if i am wrong, but i watched a video on someone else's channel, and he said you have fill the tensioner with oil, overwise it dont tension, maybe your noise coming from that.
I think sir your tensioner is the problim pull it out sir..and you can see that the spring of your tensioner is upside down thats why your tensioner cant push the plastic gear inside..try to fix the spring to its normal position..try it sir it works we have the same engine guaranteed sir
Where can you find the actual shaft for the cam oil pump gear mine has accessible play didn’t know if I could order a new shaft or press a brass bushing in the case to fix the issue
well done for the video, i have a question, my cam chain sprocket mark is not lining up with the mark on the engine case, i put the flywheel on T mark and the cam sprocket mark is either higher than the engine case mark or lower so i am suspecting that the timing chain is worn. i removed the crank case cover and saw the the sprocket of the oil pump is very worn. can you tell me how to remove the oil pump sprocket? thank you again
Hello sir did you ever got this problem sorted out? Because i have the same problem on my rebuild engine, and what i think is happening is the rocker arm that the hydraulic plunger push against is hitting the crank case when its down and going up it hits it, making that noice, I might be wrong but if you got it fix, would help me a lot if you can share, ty.
I have an oil leak from the bolt where the camchain tensionr is. Not sure if a gasket goes there but i've tried a rubber gasket and gasket maker to stop the leak. No dice. Is there a part that im missing internally?
Jam a screwdriver in the teeth of the sprocket somewhere so the tip catches the cylinder head and the sprocket teeth at the same time. Do it carefully though so you don't wreck anything.

Did you ever solve what the problem was with this engine?
Last time I didn't have spark one of the coils on the ignition plate (coils inside the rotor) was bad. You can measure the restriction and when there's no restriction or it's not within spec you know it's bad. And some of the spark plug caps have fuse in'em, worth to check that out too.
Neither. Studied from the TV as a kid and nowadays using a lot of Google Translate. :D Spent couple of months in Australia which also helped but I'm still studying as I go. :)
I would like to know where you bought this package! Online store? Locally? I need to replace mine very soon, so any help getting the full set of neccessary parts would be gold ^_^

No worries, I'm glad I could help. ;)
Clear and Concise. Would love to see a video of you changing out the oil pump sprocket.

Yes Safety wire old and pull it through.. then wrap around new and pull..I learned the hard way.
I've done it without the wire too, much easier with the wire though, you're right. :D

My cam gear doesn't spin on the top head/ valve side. How can I fix this?
correct me if i am wrong, but i watched a video on someone else's channel, and he said you have fill the tensioner with oil, overwise it dont tension, maybe your noise coming from that.
Thinking same thing. Chain tensioner damper needs priming.
I think sir your tensioner is the problim pull it out sir..and you can see that the spring of your tensioner is upside down thats why your tensioner cant push the plastic gear inside..try to fix the spring to its normal position..try it sir it works we have the same engine guaranteed sir
Is the idler thing necessary to put back on or can I just put the bolt back on?
Where can you find the actual shaft for the cam oil pump gear mine has accessible play didn’t know if I could order a new shaft or press a brass bushing in the case to fix the issue
Did you solve the problem if yes can you tell me how
Where does the linkage that's ahead of the kickstarter linkage

Great video - Very helpful thanks!!
Mybe that sound because you need to change tensioner rod and put a new engine oil on it.In 8mm bolt at below of magneto.
Anyone have a link or anything for this cam chain kit? I have a 110cc atv that has this same noise but not as bad as this one.
How did you remove the round chain cover cap!!
There's a long bolt for it that comes through the cylinder head to the right hand side of the cylinder.
hey did you figure it out? I'm having the same issue.
Nah, the noise still remained.
Good video, did you ever fix it?

There should be a copper washer which acts as a gasket.
Bang cara stel tensioner per gimna supaya rante keteng pas
When I take the 3 bolts off the timing sprocket how do I do it without it spinning,,,I cant get them off,,thanks

Did the "T" means top dead center? Because i was checking in my motor and it was bottom dead center
Rotate the stator another 360 degrees
Then make sure the cam sprocket it’s lined up as well. That’s tdc. The T can be tdc or bdc
I have same engine on my quad bike 110cc, but the spark plug doesn't ligh. Any ideas? I've tried with new spark plug but doesn't made any difference

Donn DIY thanks
Thank you !
Where can I buy this kit at? I need one for my 110cc Chinese ATV and I'm not having any luck finding the cam chain set anywhere.
Dude... Your English is really good. Did you study in school or live in the States for awhile? 👍
Neither. Studied from the TV as a kid and nowadays using a lot of Google Translate. :D Spent couple of months in Australia which also helped but I'm still studying as I go. :)
@@DonnDIY we would love to have you back any time here in australia
Can you tell me where you bought your replacement parts. I need the same parts and can’t seem to find them online.
I bought the parts from my local China parts dealer. You can buy these also from eBay or Aliexpress I presume.
Find the right hand side of the motorcycle when you're sitting on it
Why is mine so lose
Your video is amaizing its all clear what are you doing I give you like and subscribe thanks man
how did u take the timing sprocket out, with out it having to spin around?
You take the sprocket off of the camshaft and push it towards the crankcase and out of the chain.
I would like to know where you bought this package!
Online store?
Locally?
I need to replace mine very soon, so any help getting the full set of neccessary parts would be gold ^_^
I bought it locally. You can find it on eBay too.
The ticking sound could be loose valve adjustment, id check that before assuming anything else.
Done that already.
good
do you live in estonia
Yes I do! ;)
me too:D
Your name kinda gives it away. :D Minu nimi on üsna internatsionaalne - selle järgi ei saakski otsustada, kas olen eestlane või mitte.
