If the US had invested the $60 Billion they gave to Ukraine in Bitcoin and utilized as a store of value against the paper fiat dollar our inflation rate would melt away and then our paper fiat might have value. As they continued this policy over time it would secure the currency better than gold. Can you imagine a Bitcoin standard for US currency. They could lower taxes as Bitcoin is deflationary. Over time , asset prices would adjust and other real assets would gain value not price as the currency representative unit would become much stronger. This would boost the economy.
You print a trillion dollar every 100 days. It wouldn’t do shit. That ship sailed in about 2013. It’s too late. USA is done

In the U.S., several states have already created laws protecting peoples rights for self custody. Such as Oklahoma. So the feds possible law of no self custody would be null and void in Oklahoma. The law protecting the people has already been passed.

Vices such as gambling (and now meme coins) increases in society as an inverse to the quality of the currency. Nobody is putting gold coins in slot machines and I doubt anybody is swapping BTC for WIF.
Even if it goes down to 50k, most NPC's won't buy, they will wait for 40K which ain't happening. They don't realise their own mentality stopped them from buying at 20K. Not everyone will win in this market.

If your in crypt0, you really should hide your assets, use monero to hide it by starting fresh wallets that have no kyc and and then after you have the monero you can swap back to whatever you had kyc on, and then put it into another fresh wallet.

Regarding Canada's CG tax, they only tax 50% of your capital gain (meaning you pay tax on half of your gains, e.g, profits) so in reality the tax rate is closer to something like 25-30% and it is not bad compared to many countries in Europe!

So you risk , invest and endure the ups and downs for 10yrs. Then half your gain goes down the toilet. Sounds good.

So for example, if you made 10000$ profit, you declare 5000$ and add that to your annual income and then get taxed on that amount based the income tax rate.
