My Envy | Saiko no Sutoka no Shiki OST

My Envy was the first track I had composed, and Till Death Do Us Part was the last chase theme I composed for the game. My Envy was particularly tricky as it had gone through 9 different iterations of varying intensities before we settled on the current style, which was a mix of three of the iterations. Till Death Do Us Part was done later, and it ended up being fairly tricky too, as the chase themes are meant to convey a different threat level depending on the enemy. Yui's (My Envy) is meant to be mid, while Saiko's (Till Death Do Us Part) is meant to be lowest.
Her Prey ended up being my favourite chase theme to work on. It utilises Elissu's motif, but it's also very chaotic-- which meant I could pull some tricks I've always wanted to. It was meant to convey a very high energy chase-- as it was described to me, she can leap from tree to tree and throw axes at the player that instakill.
{Summary}
Saiko No Sutoka No Shiki is a spin-off of the original game, Saiko No Sutoka. It’s a survival based on a horror game where you must escape from AI that actively hunts you down in unique ways.
