Bukit Gombak to me is a middle to lower-middle class neighbourhood, predominantly residential (public housing) and pretty under the radar and unexciting.. most ppl in the neighbourhood either live there or visit the area with a purpose in mind. As a local Singaporean I wanna thank you for sharing these "unexciting" neighbourhood videos, for it's like a little eye opening experience for me to appreciate them without physically heading down!
Thanks Chan 🙏😊 really appreciate your support. These videos don't tend to do "as well as" the city centre videos but it's definitely important to give rhe neighbourhood some screen time. Also less pressure for me to "make the video" good 🤣 the location is what it is.
@@DiscoveryWalkingToursTV Oh yes I definitely realize the difference in no of views. Most popular is still Orchard I guess - for good reason too. While I like those, I also like these neighbourhood ones. I hope you can cover more far flung areas like Marsiling or Jurong West or Yew Tee or something someday!
Alan I m happy to see that you are making even better quality videos than when I first watched them when you started. That was more than two years ago. Indeed Singapore has changed and developed so much since I worked there in the mid 80s. Toa Payoh where I lived looks so different. There are now other channels there similar to yours, but i think you are still the best. Thanks and keep up the good effort.
Thanks alot Steven. It's nice to know you have been watching me since 2 years ago. Glad to know the quality improvements have met your expectations 😊 indeed. Always big and continued improvements and changes to Singapore. It's also nice to see more Singapore walking youtubers starting out. More people will also mean more footage so Singapore will be remembered even 2 or 3 generations later
_Thanks Alan, for your comprehensive Gombak, Hong Kah North and Bukit Batok walking tour. Looks like they are efficiently run and very clean. Top stuff Alan!_ . 🇸🇬👍
Thanks Jeremy. Been awhile since I was last back here. Actually I walked until I got lost 🤣 wanted to end at Guilin but turn here and there until tired. Next time will try again 😂
@@jeremykwan1792 been a productive year thus far. Just at the beginning of the year if you say I will reach 50k subs in 2021 I would have shrugged off as a dream. But I think got a very decent chance. Just got to put in the effort and work. I spent quite a bit of money to upgrade my gear (and still planning to buy more) so need to chiong harder and get youtube to pay off these expenses 🤣
All of you should really come and take a walk within Bukit Gombak Park. You would be treated with beautiful sight of the butterfly garden and the dog run.
Good morning (8:39 AM, EST) Allen. Happy Saturday evening to you. Nice walk through the neighborhood. One of the buildings (white & sky-blue colors) whose corridor you walk through, looks brand new...is it? Cute neighborhood. Travel safely global friend, rest easy 🌍🌻☕.
@@candy876 Our public housing flats have this policy of repainting the block every 5 years. Depending on the age of the building, upgrading works will also be done to the area. Probably that's why it looks news. Its just well maintained.
Hi . Very good quality. We do not have an 8K TV, but I download and watch 4K. Please, the filming should be in the sun. And a movie under 20 minutes is better. Thanks
Many Hong Kong famous shops have been immigranted to Singapore. The way they do businesses at Hong Kong have been the same as they worked at Singapore. These are unhealthy economy. Love in Jesus should have been around and made the bell callings.

Each of these videos are one reason to go to Singapore. They really motivate me.

Think most of the buildings I walked through are fairly "old". Old would be like being built in the 1990s 🤣
