That would be an amazing movie if they found the right people to do it. Although I doubt that will happen, and if it did I'm not quite sure anyone could capture the beauty of this game.
+Coffee Jelly I agree, this is the kind of game that could be great as a film if done right. Its story is engaging and complex, but short enough to not have to pack too much in.
+Lightly Bow And that last song... Like how you can't explain to people that haven't played Transistor why you love it, and you hate it? The way he pleads, he knows what she's about to do, and he knows that he can't stop her, but it's not what he wants, it's what she wants. The way he just says "Red, no"...
5:30 can't believe I only just noticed how she drapes his old jacket around the hilt like its his shoulders and he's still a normal person. jeez why you do my like this?
This game broke my heart in so many ways. And you just don't get that happy ending...💔 Just a beautiful piece of artwork all around, from the storytelling, atmosphere, soundtracks, and graphics. I don't play many games, but I love this one so much
HOLD THE PHONE. The first time you play the game her man says “Hey Red. We won’t get away with this, are we?”. After you finish it for the first time, Royce is the one saying that! Would that mean that the game is but a circle? I have so many questions!
I know I’m really late to this thread, but I think what makes Royce so interesting is his philosophical opposition to Red. Transistor is a story about creation, and why we create in the first place. Royce is of the opinion that creation is good in and of itself, and longs for a world where he could express his ideas without anyone interfering. Red, on the other hand, believes that creation is pointless if we don’t create for other people. When she finds herself alone with the power of the Transistor at the end of the game, she still decides to sucks herself into it, as having unlimited power to create whatever she wants ultimately means nothing if she can’t be with the one she loves.
My girlfriend and I said goodbye to each other because I am studying abroad and we also were having problems... I had this game before breaking up but did not quite finished it until last week, and the scene at 9:00 got me completely. We said goodbye but I truly feel our love is not over. She is the love of my life, and I found really strange, and somewhat unbelievable how this scene got to describe us. "Look no matter what happens just... I love you. You know that right? Bye for now... But I will see you again. I will see you again"
@@mihajlomatkovic739 Late to the party but you can watch the noclip documentary on Transistor's production. At first Boxer was supposed to be the hero, and.. well he was a boxer
Maybe it's just me... but on my second playthrough, the voice of the guy at the beginning... "Ey red, we're not gonna get away with this"... sounded...REALLY different...
SaKuRaVaAnLoNhArT The voice of Royce at the beginning of the second play through kind of hints that the game might just be cyclical. So, no matter what you do you just go through it over and over and over again.
I absolutely love this game. An indi film company should make a movie out of it. Big Hollywood would most likely ruin it. One of the richest stories in game that I ever experienced since FF7 back in the PS1 days.
+JingCake not the soul, but the consioussness that is transferred to data. And I think Cloudbank is real, it's just created from white artificial matter that can change its appearance.
the short dialogue -Hi. -Hey. is there to indicate that they both found each other within the transistor, notice how it can't be a memory because every memory is portrayed in black and white, the music also says "I will always find you" over and over again.
So she can be with her lover in the Transistor. When I initially played the game my question was why she didn't do it sooner, it's kinda sad that everything that she has done to try and get her lover and her voice back has been a colossal failure even though by all other measures their journey was a success. The only thing that mattered, their connection, would never be. At least not in CloudBank.
I wish this game will have a movie adaptation, it's definitely worth watching >.
Given they don't ruin it.

I love how that blade talks casually of red, turns out to be her boyfie. so epic. -_-
Here’s the thing... will it be animated, drawn out, or live action?
The cutscene at the end always gives me goosebumps.
I absolutely love this game.

even though this comment is old want to say, the end cutscene makes me want to cry

actually cried at the ending both times... goodbye soul
sophie gubler is that Veronica?
God I got chills when he says "there is only one way out.. And it is.. well. Unpleasant." Then when he goes in to transistor mode. Such a good game.
0:44 Never noticed the shadow of the Young Lady on the wall. Love the attention to detail!
Kalhiki Oh christ that is so terrifying
Kalhiki I noticed it just at eighth play xD
I just heard the process noises and I was like “What? I don’t see any.... oh that’s creepy... yeah this is going to be fun”
I wish i would notice it myself
HOLY SHIT AND THEM SHE BASICALLY APPEARS BEHIND THEM
years later, always come back to enjoy this masterpiece.

May not be a straight edge "happy" ending. But it's a bitter sweet ending.
11:00
I'm not crying.
Well, I am, but so are you.
9:10 “look no matter what happens, i love you”
HOLD THE PHONE. The first time you play the game her man says “Hey Red. We won’t get away with this, are we?”. After you finish it for the first time, Royce is the one saying that! Would that mean that the game is but a circle? I have so many questions!
No matter how you play it, the city will still be destroyed.
It is fated to be such.
Great recapitulation of the whole story. Royce Bracket is just my favourite antagonist of all books, novels and movies. See you in the country.
+Johan Rott I never really got into him too much. Could you break it down to me why you like him so much ?

5:42 little easter egg to bastion on the shelves
I DIDNT NOTICE THAT THE THIRD TIME I BEAT THE GAME
The ending from cutscene to end of credits will always give me the sniffles. The music and story telling is always top bloody tier
The beauty of this game is more than what my mind can handle.
Four years after playing this masterpiece and I finally understand the opening lines. SG I beg you please keep doing that!
2:20 one of my favorite cutscenes
That cut scene ripped me off, gave me the feels :(

I will see you again"
Rooting for you dude!
if u listen hard u can hear boxer singing with red at the end
He's name is Boxer?
@@mihajlomatkovic739 We don't know his name. But he's reffered to as Boxer or Auden in the game's files.
@@mihajlomatkovic739 Late to the party but you can watch the noclip documentary on Transistor's production. At first Boxer was supposed to be the hero, and.. well he was a boxer
i think it was really cool that she was able to reverse the ffects of the process with her voice at 11:00 uwu

The voice in the beginning of Recursion(The 2nd Playthrough) is Royce.

Yeah... It's so sad...:C
Right? To imagine that it just never ends..
Sunshine Spaceclouds Yeah, Bastion did the same thing pretty much.
Brilliant game. I finished it a week ago, and all I have to say is... wow.
It will be nice if there will be a animated Netflix series produced by Studio Mir, Powerhouse Animation, or Production I.G
I think Studio Mir would be appropriate for the art style alone
This ending is one of the best ever in any media, wow
Absolutely love this game!!
so glad this will never be a movie, Hollywood would ruin every beautiful aspect of this amazing story
Ending of the game left me jaw dropped
Much like Bastion
Can't wait to play Pyre and Hades!
See you in the Country.
I meaan.. half of this is breaking my heart and the other half is bursting my ovaries xD Absolutely gorgeous game.
a decade later and this game is still a master piece
6:14 “just...hurry back”
Holy! I’m 3/4 of the way thru this game (still haven’t finished it after three years !) but that ending!
This could definitely be a nice movie
8:52 “i could get used to this”
Saddest, happy ending in gaming history. EVER! 😭🤧
The feels :,,(
So, after she passed, she could sing again. This story is a test jerker. I played it once upon a time and still love the music and story.
Tear jerker. Makes ya cry
I still wonder what the man in the Transistor looks like.
I’m so happy of how it ends :’)
Lo jugué hace como 5 años pero cada vez que lo recuerdo me dan ganas de llorar, la ptm y yo aqui estare sola de por vida
Anybody know where to find the version of Forecast that plays at 7:25?
Just watching this so I can cry again
7:26 - 8:00
I can't find this soundtrack:( maybe someone can promt what's name of this track? Please.
Forecast
That overcoat he gave to her is almost physics defying, just how much does it flap for being a medium length???
Arguably my favorite game of all time. To anyone who doesn't own it yet, buy it now!
Still a better love story than Twilight.
Just play this game. Just...Yeah
4:24 is that Sibil crying ?
Yes
"You can hear me. Can't you?" Part is missing.
I absolutely love this game. An indi film company should make a movie out of it. Big Hollywood would most likely ruin it. One of the richest stories in game that I ever experienced since FF7 back in the PS1 days.
Sad ...my heart :'(
I feel so......sad...I love this game.....so much...
always makes me cry T-T
what is the name of the last song ?
Paper boats
AWSOME
Wow the ending was so sad :( she left him by himself!
When stabbed by the transistor, your soul gets put into the transistor. She just joined him in the transistor. They're together in the end.
+JingCake not the soul, but the consioussness that is transferred to data. And I think Cloudbank is real, it's just created from white artificial matter that can change its appearance.
the short dialogue

-Hey.

UncommonReality thanks for explaining cause I didn't know
Well call me murdered and buried six feet because... yeah! T__T)
Why Did Red Kill Herself?! T^T
So she can be with her lover in the Transistor.
