I remember there’s like a reason behind this. The author of the comic series said why that was, but I can remember. But they def do it on purpose. I think it’s supposed to be about how like humans are just like animals in their own way, and we all have an animal inside of us, like just like lions we’ll roar if we’re angry, and like dogs we’ll bark if we are excited, and like cats we’ll purr if we’re happy. In our own ways ofc. And some of us just have a harder time copping than others. And some of us can’t communicate with others as well as some ppl can. We all have animal traits to us. I’m pretty sure that’s why some characters are animals and some are humans, but if you notice all the animal characters are much more humane than the human characters. This goes into it as well. But yea the author did that on purpose
