@@Brockstonepavingpros I think that is what the RUclips is lacking .... the details of each step for me is crucial as a DIY project last thing we want is to make mistakes down the line and end up hating the end result because it’s not perfect.
But thanks for the response it’s saved my anxiety for the areas that have a 70-80mm gap to meet the required level.
@@stevenmccaffrey4162 thank you. I think there is a lot of secrecy out there involved with trades, especially in landscaping for some reason, many people don’t like to give too much away.
Yes, we use this method if not suitable or practical to use TYPE 1 and wack, just make sure you firm it in if you’re building up a bit 👍
Quality work and very helpful video for DIYers. Can you rip 20mm porcelain tiles with a 4.5inch grinder?
You’re welcome mate. Thank you.
Yes, you can but will take a bit of time. Always use water. Be better with a 9 inch mate or table saw if you’re not used to a STHIL saw 👍👍
Great work! Thank you for the video!
You’re welcome
Thanks for watching
I’ve said it before and I’ll it again great work with the Stihl saw
Cheers Dave, my favourite tool 😁
Thanks for watching 👍👍
Love the detail!
Thank you mate! Rambled on a bit 🤣
@@Brockstonepavingpros ramble away mate, it’s the little details that count when perfecting a trade. The way you measure up the slab has helped me a lot. I was measuring and eyeing up the cuts which took longer. 👍🏼
@@elliottdebell7783 cheers mate, that’s good to hear. I always prefer to go off a visual/physical thing rather than a measurement, it’s basically fool proof!
Thanks again 👊
@@Brockstonepavingpros I feel like I should be paying you to watch your videos!
@@elliottdebell7783 I won’t complain 🤣
Can you advise the make of the Inspection covers you use in this video?
Most i have seen on internet are suited for Block paving and have 4 corner points to lift wheras yours are 2 point lifting.
Great looking job and your other videos are inspirational with such attention to detail. Great craftsmanship well done
Thank you Andrew, appreciate it greatly.
The covers are from a local supplier to me. However look up Soloslide, they’re available nationwide and are extremely good.
You are the man Matty
What blade do you use in the sthill saw
My blade won’t cut Porcelain tile very good
Haha I dunno about that, just love my trade!
Ok mate, you need to speak to Phil at Pulvex, he will guide you to the right one. Mention me and you’ll get a discount on your first order 👌👌👌👌

Excellent stuff pal. Proper pro. Reccomend any tile levelling systems for a novice or not tried them?
I know a lot of lads are using them, my mate buy them from Tilers Tools, he swears by them.
I don’t use them sorry mate.
@@Brockstonepavingpros not a problem pal. You're a pro and have your ways so you do your thing. I need all the help I can get 🤣
@@TheDranny haha all the best mate! 👍👍👍
Another great video, thanks for taking the time to do these in such detail, really helpful.
What grout do you tend to use, just finishing up a Brazilian Black Slate patio (900 x 600’s - 5mm joints) and looking for a decent dark grey grout?
Thanks again Ash
Hello my mate, you’re most welcome, it makes spending the time on them, filming and editing worthwhile when you get comments like this - so thank you!!!!
Okay mate, 💯 go for Kerakoll Fugabella it’s by far the best grout out there. They are on a number basis, not colour names. We used a no10 on this one, depends on how dark you want it to be. But yes, use that, you won’t be disappointed 👍👍
Thanks again for watching
All the best
Matty
Brilliant, will give that a go, I know they sell it locally too.
Thanks for taking the time to respond, take care! 👊🏼
@@ashparry5437 you’re most welcome mate, anything else just ask 👍
Great video. So many videos skip over some of the subtleties. Like the tip using the offcuts to check the level.
Glad it was helpful! Thank you
