It's the main song file, like a MIDI but for SynthV. It holds notes on the piano roll, lyrics, and any parameter change and setting.

Do you tune by ear or vocalistener
I use HPsynthV's Real Voice plugin, which is kinda like Vocalistener. It still requires a lot of editing afterwards unless you have a perfectly clean acapella, but it gives a nice starting point
