  • An Hungarian folk story, adapted into a song by Judy Collins in 1963.
    Mike learned it from his guitar teacher at school and was always captivated by the descending chord sequence.
    We wanted to try out our story-telling skills and keep it very dark.
    Judy recorded it in 4/4, we chose waltz-time.
