When I watch your videos, I only think: “ gosh, I think she would be fun to hang around with,” or “ gee, I LOVE her choice of colorful fabrics,” or “ she has great taste in patterns”. I don’t EVER think “gosh, she needs to change this or that or whatever. Nice work on saving the Donny shirts. Enjoy your weekend….
Gosh, that dress is perfect! The fabric is gorgeous, and works perfectly as a dress! And the quilting fabric on the last one is so incredibly beautiful!!! It turned out fabulous!
Hey Michelle, I was WOWED at each version of the Donny shirt. My biggest wow and also got the 'Spock eyebrow lift' was how you refashioned the top into a dress. Really looks nice on you as do the other shirts. You did an amazing job.
Third time's the charm! Love the dress. You already know I love the chambray shorts outfit. I can't believe you found that quilting cotton at JoAnn's - and I'm sure glad you found it again at our useless one! You're a good teacher. I think lots of people will appreciate how simple you made it. 😘❤
Thanks Jen! I'm so glad I found the extra fabric to finish that top - I love it! I'm so happy with all 3 versions and YOU are my inspiration to persevere 😊💕. I'm so glad you're in my life dear friend!!
Hi Michelle, YES, YES, YES a huge win for all three of your Donny shirts. They all look fantastic. The shorts really look great with the Donny. Wow!!! The dress is gorgeous on you. You rock girl. Have a great weekend. Val❤️🇨🇦🇬🇧
Excellent!!!! Love the new dress and the tops. And the tutorial! I’m really working on getting a good fit finally--after sewing for about 50 years (Not counting making Barbie shift dresses from bias tape!) 😊
This made me both laugh and reminisce at the same time! I’m 52 and have been sewing for 40 years (not including the cross stitch bookmarks in primary school lol) and am still figuring out a good fit, I know how to do it but putting it into practise is another thing. Yesss to the Barbie/Cindy outfits, I used to make them out of all sorts of random things including old socks, it was so much fun and I believe I’ve still got some of them in my loft somewhere 🤣
Two thumbs up on the finished iced dyed shirt. I love it with your shorts - really cute outfit! I love any and all things Kaffe, so that number two is a win as well. And the third one fits you perfectly! Love the fabric and it’s perfect with your leggings. Great job, Michelle. I am still unpacking boxes at our new house and thinking about sewing sometime soon! Great video. TFS.
Since I recently purchased this pattern and watched their video on assembly, I found you.. ❤ I am so glad you were able to figure out your dilemma… and before I started creating. Love love love the Kaffe Fassett Donny dress. I love his prints. I haven’t garment sewn much in the last few years… so looking forward it. Thank you 😊
LOVE all 3 shirts. Perfect with the looser shorts, lovely as a dress and fabulous fit after the adjustments. Thanks for the demonstration and for sharing the success of your transformations.
'The book doesn't have to wear it" I just loved that comment....really enjoyed this video....all three are wins, just love your dress. Thank you for sharing 😊
I like the solutions you came up with and I’m so glad you found ways to keep those tops! These videos have been very helpful and I’m glad you stepped out of your comfort zone to talk about this. Thank you! ✂️❤️✂️❤️✂️❤️
The Donny shirt with the shorts is super cute. I am inspired to try quilting fabric for this pattern after seeing that fabulous print on the third shirt.
Loved your video, so easy to understand your clear instructions. The dress was a clever move and the style is very flattering. What beautiful material the last shirt is and the length looks perfect. I think your were successful in making all your shirts wearable ❤🎉👍
Happy belated birthday. I love the dress version and agree it is great for your warmer weather. It looks gorgeous on you. Thanks for making the dartless fba tutorial. You explained it beautifully.
All three versions of your Donny look excelllent on you now! Good save! I really like that pattern/design, it looks easy-wear and comfortable. Thanks for sharing with us!
Wow. In the end, all three versions look really, really good on you. Thanks so much for sharing your process and for sharing the FBA. That looked so much more doable than the tutorial I tried to follow. Thanks Michelle!
Well, keep in mind this fba tutorial was for a top without darts. An fba with darts is a different animal. I'm going to attempt that next! I'm glad you found this helpful!! Thanks so much!!
Hey Michelle the shirt with the chambray shorts is cute and the dress you make out of the second shirt is super CUTE!!!!! That’s a good idea for a dress in the future! The last shirt looks really nice and fits you nice! Thanks for sharing ❤
Great solutions! I 'm so glad you were able to rework the originals into 2 garments you are happy with. Those fabrics are too beautiful to waste. The full bust adjustment was just what you needed. And you learned something new . Great tutorial.
🤩 Wowza! What great saves on both of the premade Donny’s. The ice dye looks amazing with the chambray shorts & the dress is fabulous and looks like a great garment to wear this summer. I’m making dresses for the summer too! Not as hot here but they are definitely more comfortable than pants. The third Donny is gorgeous, I’ll have to check out our Joann’s to see if we have that quilting cotton. Now you have a perfect pattern for the next time when you’re ready to make another one.
I really enjoyed your vlog and your makes were fabulous... I loved your dress hack the dress looks great on you 😊.. I think you suit the colours in the dress also.. I particularly liked your demonstration of how to do a bust adjustment.. Thank you 😊
Your concerns were the same as mine for my body too... your corrections fir the 2 already made shirts were spot on... well done !!! Your 3rd one after the FBA is wonderful !!! Very complementary for your figure n love that fabric... I have been seeing this pattern all over but seriously doubting that it was for me... you have convinced me I too can wear this shirt... thank you... love your new sewing room with that gorgeous accent wall... like being in a lush garden... 😊
Oh I'm so glad you are seeing this pattern as an option now! I'm so happy with all 3 of my versions - the little bit of extra effort was worth it!! And thanks for your kind words about my sewing room - it really does make me happy to walk in here!!
All three of your finishes are great! The FBA is so 'simple' once you explained it! The dress hack looks lovely and is perfect for your climate. I always liked the solution you found for the icedied version. Thanks for sharing all your experience and knowledge.
HI Michelle.. Love love love the Donnie top but the dress idea is absolute perfection.... You are so very talented.. Hot here in Canada.. I need snow.. Have a great week.. take care
Great saves and love your new shirt. That dress option seems just perfect for the fabric, your climate and your vibe. I will keep the ice dye top solution in mind - just pair the piece with another style garment.😊
OMG Michelle so beautiful- all 3 of them. All different and all really cute! I have the pattern but haven’t had a chance to make it yet. You have lit the fire to get going. Again so cute!!
Luv this.. Thank you so much for sharing 😊 Seeing how easy the non-dart FBA adjustment was made was definitely a game changer.. I'm sure many of us avoid making an FBA and just live with the fit.. the length on your last shirt is perfect..sometimes the longer lengths can overwhelm us petite ladies.. the dress was also a great hack and it looks great on you.. Enjoy the warm weather.. I have been enjoying ours near my air conditioning 😅
Thanks so much Michelle! The dartless FBA was so easy and it has helped me be less intimidated by a traditional FBA. I'm ready to give it a go! I have also been spending lots of time inside with my a/c 🤣
Thanks for being real with us! Agree re extender lace piece - clash of styles. Looks fabulous with your shorts! Your new dress is great. I also wonder about a better fitting shoulder. Maybe a size smaller (width) with the FBA? This was a great video review of all the options for styling, fixing, hacking and adjusting.
All of the tips you tried look awesome, Love the "dress" and Love the new shirt. Points to you for persistence, some of us would have thrown the pattern and the shirt out the window!! 💜-Mary
Thank you Michelle. I’ve saved your tutorial to do later. I’ve had a notion to make the Donny Shirt but I’m 5’ 10” (with a pooch!!) but your advice/adjustments have made me reconsider buying this pattern. Love your shirts and the dress. I did something similar with the LN Melody Dolman. Thanks again 🤓🏴
I think the adjustments are easy and the little bit of effort is worth the end result - such a cute top! I really like the Melody Dolman versions that I've seen, I might have to give that a try! Thanks 😊
I love all of your shirts. The shorts were a perfect fix, loving the dress. BTW the dress looks beautiful on you, and your last shirt FBA was right on point. If anyone notice anything, they need to mind their own business. Loving them all.
I am 58 and my daughter is 21. I tried to raise her to be comfortable, and not shame over her body. Sometimes, I feel I was too successful😂 she’s the kindest, best person and I love her. And she wears all the new skin showing fashions.
Love this! I’ve just watched the Threads video to check and they didn’t mention it but it’s important to remember that if you have a pattern with a centre front seam to take the seam allowance into account (and that of the shoulder seam either way) when plotting your measurements, in a looser fitting garment it wouldn’t necessarily be a problem but in a more fitted one while there’d be an improvement, you still might not get the fit you really want and won’t understand why. In their video they had the seam allowance marked on their pattern and had measured from the centre front seam line but didn’t specifically say that, they just said centre front which is a different measurement depending on whether your pattern piece is cut on the fold or not. Think about the seam allowance being 5/8” and take that amount from both front pieces, you’d be losing 1 1/4” width/length wise or both which might not sound like a lot but it could be critical in having a close fitting garment fit just right.
Awesome fixes! Thank-you soooo much for the dartless FBA demonstration. I am going to bite the bullet and try it on my next top make. I don't feel like dealing with darts and making sure they fall in the right position. (Maybe at some later date.) Thank-you, again. Happy sewing!❤
The iced dyed top looks great with the shorts! The dress, too! Great solution! The third one looks great... those colors are wonderful on you. I think I'm staying away from the Donny top... it's cute but I'm 5'9" and wear a G... I don't want to do all that adjusting!
In the end the adjusting wasn't that much - added a few inches to the length and then the dartless FBA was super easy. But I understand - fiddling with a pattern can be a pain sometimes! This was one of the easier pattern adjustments I've had to make. Thanks for watching Diane!
Great job working thru the options. I think the loose shorts are a perfect solution for the top. But your third version after a full bust adjustment it my favorite because Im in love with that fabric and will be heading to Joanns to find it. When truing up the hem maybe you could use your seam gauge and follow along with the original shape (which keeps a bit more length, but only by a bit.) I know you're done with the Donny for now. I bought the pattern after watching your review and seeing all of your versions. Thank you for being so thorough.
That's a great idea for truing up the hem - thanks for the advice! I'm so happy with all 3 versions now - the extra (minimal) effort was totally worth it!
I love the patterns you showed...i took notes and heading over to the site in a minute...my favourite pattern is the Kent woven and also the Hope dress...i recently got the extension packet for the Hope woven... thanks for sharing
I absolutely love your dress! That was a great save! I’m in the middle of making a Donny shirt! I have been struggling with adding the back bodice and doing the burrito. Looking for advice. When I sew the back bodice to the back yoke RST then do the burrito I have twice had to unpick it because the back bodice is inside out! 🤦♀️🤷♀️ I have watched the video but she goes pretty fast and I have read the instructions. Any ideas on what I’m doing wrong? Thank you for this video! I am built similar to you and will probably have to adjust my pattern too! Love you 3rd rendition! ♥️
Happy Belated Birthday!!! I loved all your changes to your shirts. The fba looked to be success. Only you can say if it is. Fit is very personal. Enjoy all your shirts and dress. I am glad you tried the fba, it will make a big difference in your future makes. Sew happy!
Thanks so much Patricia! I agree, fit is very personal 😊. I'm glad I tried the FBA as well. I'm much less intimidated to try the traditional version now!
that was a great video! thank you for sharing your adjustments. i haven't seen an fba done that way before--it was very interesting. i absolutely love the fabric on version #3 and the fit is fabulous.
The dress and the third shirt turned out awesome 👏 I recently made two jackets one for my son-in-law and daughter from a pattern with one size (large). Hers needed to be a size small 😳. After several days (and videos) I found one that showed how to size down doing something similar to what you just did (by cutting pieces and moving them up and in). THANK you Jesus! Because all that grading down by moving the ruler around was scrambling my brain. 🤣 The picture is on instagram.
I like all three of your outfits. I think you could do a petite adjustment from the underarm to the shoulders. I am also 5 feet tall and have to make this adjustment so the tops fit my underarm and don't hang down. I really like the dress version.
Interesting - I hadn't heard of a petite adjustment for the armhole. I don't feel that the sleeves are too oversized though - I like having room. But it's certainly something I'll keep in mind for future makes - thanks so much for the tip! 💕
I love both your “new” Donny dress! What a great solution. The chambray shorts option was also a great idea, and I love the summery look. Did you make those shorts? If so which pattern did you use? I have the opposite problem and always HAVE to cover my oversized tush, and I love this as another alternative. Love the fabric and Donny # 3! Thanks for a great video ❤
Thanks so much for all the love 😍. I did NOT make those shorts - they are either from Kohl's or Old Navy several years ago. If you decide to make the Donny I hope you enjoy it!!
Love, love, love the Donny with those shorts! And the dress is super cute. Great job saving the two tops. And when I saw your 3rd one, I actually went Wow out loud - it’s gorgeous. Your demo of the FBA was really good. Thank you! 💞
Great improvements, love the new dress and the FBA worked very well. We had lovely weather here in Wales in June but are having a cool and wet July so far.
I put my second Donny shirt on today and had an idea - the back fits me well but the front is so - flat. And I think that's why I don't love it with my mum tum even after lengthening it. Next time I made this I am going to spread the front to add extra fabric to the centre line - so that the front isn't so square and has a tiny bit of flare at the bottom. This should make it more flattering on me and it will be a fairly easy change to try. And this will accommodate the mum tum without adding more to the back, and avoid that "cupping" where a top is longer than my mum tum but seems tighter under it than over it - the mum tum stretches it out and there's not enough fabric UNDER the mum tum (at that length of the top) to continue that flare. Hope this makes sense.
Hi Michelle! Happy Friday! I love that you showed a new way to add fulness and room in the bust area because I had never seen it done like you just did. Your adjustments on your Donny shirt is awesome! Have a great weekend!😊
You did a great job on all three versions! I think I like the top with the shorts best. The FBA tutorial was really good - I only wish I had enough to have that problem 😂.
I love the wall behind you, is it wall paper? Love your choice of fabrics. I’m new to your channel and sad I didn’t find you sooner. Love the shorts with the top! The dress is fantastic! Just brilliant ❤ your choice of fabric is FABULOUS. Your adjustment is perfect.
Yes, the wall behind me is a wallpaper mural - I love it so much! Thank you so much for all your kind words! I'm so glad to have you join the group - I hope you'll continue to watch and participate in the comments 😊
If you want to keep the bottom the way it was you could have cut where you extended the front and just put a piece of paper there instead and slid the bottom piece down. Hope that makes sense. Love all your tops, just so darn cute.
Thank you for showing that FBA hack! I like the Donny but have been struggling with the length - I think it depends on what I'm wearing it with. So far my best pairing is with my Closet Core Pietra wide leg pants, partly because they are higher waisted than my other bottoms. I think I need to make more Pietra shorts to go with this shirt now. Great video.
Hi Antoinette! I'm so sorry - I should have shared that in the video! Yes, I did 1.5x the width of the top. And I just cut the length long enough to hit right below my knees plus seam allowance and hem allowance 😊
Oh my gosh - seriously, this is one of the BEST comments I've ever gotten! Thank YOU so much 💕💕💕. I hope you have a wonderful weekend 😊
Gosh, that dress is perfect! The fabric is gorgeous, and works perfectly as a dress! And the quilting fabric on the last one is so incredibly beautiful!!! It turned out fabulous!
Thank you so much!😍
I admire the fact that you didn't just throw in the towel on this pattern. Great to see your process.
Well - I'm totally inspired by Jen from @todayinjenssewingroom - she NEVER gives up! It was so worth it to keep going - I love all 3 versions!! 😊💕
Hey Michelle, I was WOWED at
each version of the Donny shirt. My biggest wow and also got the 'Spock eyebrow lift' was how you refashioned the top into a dress. Really looks nice on you as do the other shirts. You did an amazing job.
Haha - I love a good Spock eyebrow lift moment 🤣. Thanks so much for your kind words!!
I'm glad you've figured out the length issue because the neckline is beautiful on you
Thank you so much! I do love the neckline 💕😊
Val❤️🇨🇦🇬🇧
Thank you so much Val! I appreciate your kind words 💕
Excellent!!!! Love the new dress and the tops. And the tutorial! I’m really working on getting a good fit finally--after sewing for about 50 years (Not counting making Barbie shift dresses from bias tape!) 😊
LOL - working on fit is such a process, right? Thanks so much Cheri!
You look great in the ice dyed shirt with chambray shorts!
Thanks so much!
TFS.
Hi Linda! Congrats on getting moved in! The unpacking can seem like it takes forever so good luck with that! Thanks so much for taking time to watch 😊
Thank you 😊
I love Kaffe Fassett prints also! They are so bright and colorful 😊. I hope you love your Donny!!
LOVE all 3 shirts. Perfect with the looser shorts, lovely as a dress and fabulous fit after the adjustments. Thanks for the demonstration and for sharing the success of your transformations.
Thank you so much Kathy!

Aww thanks so much! 😊
When it comes to tutorials you are a natural. So clear. Glad all your Donny issues are resolved for you. The dress hack is inspired.
Thank you so much - that's so kind of you to say!
The donny dress is perfect! I love the final donny. Looks great on you, and the print is fabulous.
Thanks so much dear lady! 💕😊
The Donny Dress is adorable - perfect solution!
Thanks so much!
The Donny shirt with the shorts is super cute. I am inspired to try quilting fabric for this pattern after seeing that fabulous print on the third shirt.
This is a great shirt to use quilting cotton for - I hope you love yours!
Loved your video, so easy to understand your clear instructions. The dress was a clever move and the style is very flattering. What beautiful material the last shirt is and the length looks perfect. I think your were successful in making all your shirts wearable ❤🎉👍
Thank you so much!😊
Happy belated birthday.
I love the dress version and agree it is great for your warmer weather. It looks gorgeous on you.
Thanks for making the dartless fba tutorial. You explained it beautifully.
Thanks so much Margaret! I was so happy with the results of the fba - definitely ready to try the traditional version 😊
❤I love the new Donnie on you. That fabric choice is amazing, party in a shirt..🎉
Haha - party in a shirt - I love that!! Thanks so much😊
All three versions of your Donny look excelllent on you now! Good save! I really like that pattern/design, it looks easy-wear and comfortable. Thanks for sharing with us!

Hi Cynthia! Thanks so much - the dress turned out really cute and is super comfy - definitely a good hack idea!
I think you did a fantastic job and now you have 3 wonderful Donny's. Still love love love the first fabric it is gorgeous.X
Thanks so much! I think that's my favorite as well 😊💕
Great solutions! I 'm so glad you were able to rework the originals into 2 garments you are happy with. Those fabrics are too beautiful to waste. The full bust adjustment was just what you needed. And you learned something new . Great tutorial.
Thanks so much Linda!

Thanks so much MaryEllen! I hope you're able to find the fabric in Joann's. If I can find a link on the website I'll share it in the community tab 😊
What a great solution for your type dyed Donny, it works perfectly with the shorts - very flattering.
Thank you!

Glad you like the dress! SNOW! I do NOT miss snow haha! It's nice to visit but not to live in, at least not for me 🤣. Thanks for watching Cindy!
The dress version is genius, it looks fantastic!
Thank you so much!
Great saves and love your new shirt. That dress option seems just perfect for the fabric, your climate and your vibe. I will keep the ice dye top solution in mind - just pair the piece with another style garment.😊

Wow looks great with the shorts!!! And i love the dress!! terrific saves!!! Your third shirt is just lovely

I’ve mostly made dresses this summer , so much cooler than binding shorts! I love that dress, gave me an idea❤
So glad I've helped to spark an idea! And yes, dresses ARE so much cooler!
Thanks for your openness about covering your lower belly. Now I know before I sew. I plan to make a dress too.
So glad you found it helpful! Thanks so much Ruby 😊
Thanks so much for sharing how you shifted the fit! You did an amazing job; I love all three!
Thank you so much!
Great teaching on the FBA. So helpful. The adjustments look great. I also love what you did with the 2nd shirt; that dress is super cute on you!
Thank you!!
Thanks for being real with us! Agree re extender lace piece - clash of styles. Looks fabulous with your shorts! Your new dress is great. I also wonder about a better fitting shoulder. Awesome job Michelle. Thanks for sharing. You have encouraged me to continue in my fit journey.
Oh that's excellent! I'm getting better at taking the time to fit things (to my liking). It's worth the effort!!
Love Donny #3❤️. The pattern is fab too and really suits you. Great fit 👍.
Thanks so much!
Hi Michelle. Three lovely successes -- thanks for sharing them and the FBA you did. They all look great, Antonia
Thanks so much Antonia!
Love the top with shorts. Love the dress and the top with the FBA. They all look great on you. Great saves.
Thank you!!
Yes! The looser shorts saves that great ice dye shirt. The dress is nice too! Great FBA, looks cool and casual. I love all your great fixes!
Thanks so much!
All of the tips you tried look awesome, Love the "dress" and Love the new shirt. Points to you for persistence, some of us would have thrown the pattern and the shirt out the window!! 💜-Mary
I give up often and have been inspired by Jen to keep going! Thanks so much Mary!
Love that you kept trying - all 3 versions are fun and look great!
I'm so glad I kept trying as well! It was worth it!!
Your busy fabric Donny looks fab too! I’m going to follow your lead, thank you.
Awesome! Thank you!
Love the shorts and the embrace the look. Love the dress.
Thanks so much!
Thank you Michelle. I’ve saved your tutorial to do later. I think the adjustments are easy and the little bit of effort is worth the end result - such a cute top! I really like the Melody Dolman versions that I've seen, I might have to give that a try! Thanks 😊
I think you nailed it!!! I love that fabric, too.
Thanks so much cuz!! 😊💕
I love all of your shirts. The shorts were a perfect fix, loving the dress. BTW the dress looks beautiful on you, and your last shirt FBA was right on point. If anyone notice anything, they need to mind their own business. Loving them all.
Thanks so much Vanessa!! 💕
Well done on your pattern adjustment. It fits you perfectly!
Thank you so much!
I am 58 and my daughter is 21. I tried to raise her to be comfortable, and not shame over her body. Sometimes, I feel I was too successful😂 she’s the kindest, best person and I love her. And she wears all the new skin showing fashions.
You absolutely did the right thing! We shouldn't carry such shame about ourselves - it doesn't help anything! Good for you 😊
Both great solutions. That dress is so cute on you.
Thank you! 😊
Great update on the shirt into a dress. Beautiful on you!
Thank you so much!
Fab job on the FBA, Michelle! I love the dress and the look with the shorts! 💗
Thanks so much Andra! 💕💕
Oh wow Rhonda - thank you so much for pointing that out! I didn't catch that. Super helpful thing to keep in mind!! 💕
Wow your Donny turned out perfect 😍 great success
Thank you so much!
Oh I hope the dartless FBA works well for you! Good luck!!
The last shirt looks great, well done. Cheers Mary
Thanks Mary!
Great video Michelle so useful with the FBA process. All the shirts look great, what a good idea to change top 2. into a dress
Thanks Anne! I'm so happy with all 3 versions now!!
I love the patterns you showed...i took notes and heading over to the site in a minute...my favourite pattern is the Kent woven and also the Hope dress...i recently got the extension packet for the Hope woven... thanks for sharing
Oh I hope you find something you like!
Hi Michele. Love your fixes. Great creative ideas. Both outfits are perfection. I really love both fabrics. Enjoy and wear proudly.💕
Thanks so much Jane!
Thanks so much Sara! I bet Threads has a similar video for an SBA - could be worth checking out. It was so simple!
Inspiring. Thank you. I loved your
analysis of feedback and related it to how you feel about your garment fit
I'm glad you enjoyed it - thank you!
Love ur shirt with the shorts also the dress great job love ur simple tutorial 😊
Thanks so much 😊
The dress and the third shirt turned out awesome 👏 I recently made two jackets one for my son-in-law and daughter from a pattern with one size (large). Hers needed to be a size small 😳. After several days (and videos) I found one that showed how to size down doing something similar to what you just did (by cutting pieces and moving them up and in). THANK you Jesus! Because all that grading down by moving the ruler around was scrambling my brain. 🤣
The picture is on instagram.
I'll go check it out! I have a pattern I need to size down from the smallest option.
Great idea for a vlog…granular details ❤❤❤
Thanks 😊
Thank you! 💞
Thanks so much Izzy! 😊
Great improvements, love the new dress and the FBA worked very well. We had lovely weather here in Wales in June but are having a cool and wet July so far.
Thanks so much! A cool July sounds nice 😊
Love the dress! Perfect solution!
Thank you so much!
Love all of your changes!!!
Thanks Maggie!
Sounds like an easy change to make. I'll be curious to hear about your results! Good luck and thanks for sharing your thoughts😊
Hi Michelle! Happy Friday! I love that you showed a new way to add fulness and room in the bust area because I had never seen it done like you just did. Your adjustments on your Donny shirt is awesome! Have a great weekend!😊
Hi Zelda! I was so excited to find that tutorial - it was so helpful! I'm glad you found it useful!!
Michelle, you did a fabulous job on all the shirts, but my favorite was the creation of the dress. Nice work! ❤
Thanks so much Maureen!
I love your dress adaptation! It came out fabulous.❤️ so did your FBA on top 3.
Thank you so much!
You did a great job on all three versions! I think I like the top with the shorts best. The FBA tutorial was really good - I only wish I had enough to have that problem 😂.
LOL - we always want what we don't have, right?? 🤣. Thanks so much Sheri!
Love the top. Looks great on you !!
Thank you!!
If you want to keep the bottom the way it was you could have cut where you extended the front and just put a piece of paper there instead and slid the bottom piece down. Hope that makes sense. Love all your tops, just so darn cute.
That's a good suggestion - thanks! 😊💕
I love what you did with all three versions ❤
Thanks so much Suzette!
@@MichelleSewsAgain YW!!
Love the dress solution.
Thanks Lorraine! 😊
Oh yes, the Pietra is the perfect pairing for that top! Good call 😊
❤❤❤ the dress!
THANK YOU!!
Shorts and dress are fab!!
Thanks so much!
Love the shirt and the tutorial
Thank you!
The dress is adorable!
Thanks Anne!
Love the dress great save
Thank you so much!
Hi - the dress version looks great on you! Can you share the ratio of top to skirt? 1.5x the width of the top, or more? Thank you!
Hi Antoinette! I'm so sorry - I should have shared that in the video! Yes, I did 1.5x the width of the top. And I just cut the length long enough to hit right below my knees plus seam allowance and hem allowance 😊
@@MichelleSewsAgain Thanks so much!
