I figured out that if you just keep going along the right wall you'll always reliably find 14 out of 15 TNTs, I only keep missing one and I'm pretty sure it's the second to last one in this video since it's quite a bit out of the way. Gonna have to adjust my strategy and see if it works.
EDIT: So yeah, seeing how that last TNT is close to the starting point I think the best strat is to just go straight to it and dispose of it immediately, then return to the starting room and from there proceed with destroying the rest of the TNTs while going along the right wall. Works like charm, I still had more than a minute left by the time I was done and I was never lost. It's actually a really easy jiggy once you know what to do.
The soundtrack to this level is a total banger
There is absolutely no way i passed this as a kid because i am STRUGGLING right now as an adult lmfao 11 year old me would be disappointed

This level is the hardest in both banjo games imo.
This mine is exactly as that multiplayer stage from 007 goldeneye. I don't recall it's name, maybe "staff" or something like that

@𝐿𝒾𝓁 𝒯𝑜𝓀𝑒𝓇 Banjo 1 is miles better. Got 100% in that. Banjo Tooie is just disjointed over-bloated then DK64 did the same.
This maze is utter tedium. I did it on my second try too, and while it wasn't that challenging, it was not fun at all. I would much rather be doing some platforming and exploring, rather than doing something that is a borefest with a timer up my ass.
I have no sense of direction, this was impossible. Thanks.
