Absolutely love the speedrun breakdown! I'd love to see any specimen or information you can share about parrots, I know quite a lot already but it would be neat to learn more!
I love this - and the skull identifications!! (I wish I'd studied to be a zoologist :() When I saw the location I guessed Chilean Flamingo (only as these are the most common zoo Flamingo species - at least in the UK)..
That 'rose-breasted cockatoo'', we call them 'Galah's', they are everywhere where I live, they pair for life too, you see big flocks with them split into pairs rummaging for food on the ground, they are a nice bird, the name doubles as Aussie slang for someone who is been a bit silly, 'He's a Galah, don't worry about him'. I never knew they had a different name, it is obvious they are a cockatoo though, smart birds.
Okay so this video got me super excited cuz I collect feathers. I have a lot of different feathers from exotic and local birds, one of those being body feathers (I have wing and tail feathers too) from flamingo. My feathers are from the greater flamingo tho but they are all beautiful non the less. Just a note I’m no expert at all, I’m just a high school student who likes to over analyse my feathers.
I went with a galah (in general) before I was like “hold up, wait a minute, where’s the other small feather thingy that pokes out” and I immediately went to American flamingo and than to Chilean (I chose American cause this feather looked like those dark pink spots on the Chilean flamingo and I doubted if it was somehow one of those and than I changed my mind because it looked too similar)
Pink is my favorite color and I didn't realize there were so many pink birds!!! This makes me happy
Omg same!! 😄😁
Out of all species with pink plummage, we're picking the most common...

Pleaseee make a speedrun breakdown for skulls!!! I'd love to know what sort of "checklist" you work through when it comes to a skull ID
It looks like he colored on the fether with the pencil
I guessed Flamingo after you said "Pink Body" and then either James or Chilean.
Go me :)!
I loveeee these break downs. Pls do more

I guessed Chilean by identifying colors of flamingos
