Wow! I didn't know there were black women singing country music. We don't hear about it a lot. I was just looking for a black male I hear singing country and came across her. She sounds amazing. And representing us well with her natural hair.
Miko your music is so heartfelt, would love to put a concert together with all the bay areas best artists,my dream come true.We all know each other it would be epic, the world needs to hear the bay areas best like Day on the Green or Golden Gates Fields,,those where the days my friend.Enjoying your music and messages, wishing you joy, peace and happiness.Congrats singing at the Opry theater what a dream come true.🤩
I NEVER KNEW IT WAS SO MANY BLACK WOMAN COUNTRY SINGER'S THAT SING SO BEAUTIFUL...AND WHY ARE THEY NOT AS FAMOUS AS THE WHITE WOMAN COUNTRY SINGER'S AND THESE BLACK WOMANS SINGS GOOD..GREAT.. AWESOME...LOOK LIKE US BLACK WOMANS JUST NOT GETTING A FAIR HAND IN COUNTRY MUSIC...AND WHEN I SEE THE COUNTRY AWARDS SHOW ON TV WHETE ARE THE BEAUTIFUL BLACK WOMEN AT...OK
Country music's majority audience is white, therefore the artists/bands reflect that. Their country music is our R&B basically (although it's audience is more diverse). Just like their rock/metal music is our hip-hop/rap (but a heavily diverse audience). It would be nice to see more black country singers but I doubt that'll ever occur. More black people would have to be interested in the genre. I doubt that'll happen because culturally, it just doesn't appeal to the majority. Darius Rucker is probably the best we'll ever get.
WTH...I don't think that Miko know how to write a bad song. She is one of the greatest ignored talents ever! Please everyone share Miko's music via the share options

This lady has more of a country sound than Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert and all the Southern Rockers marketed as "Country". It's ironic how the most traditional sounds of country music are African American. Take for example, Wagon Wheel. Darius Tucker was the most traditional sounding country vocalist via an Old Crow Medicine Show song. He is more country than all of the Bro Country tripe put together.
Cause country music is rooted in blues/gospel music created by African Americans. Country music is just another sibling of blues genre. Most poor whites and blacks were living together before and after Civil War and whites were influenced by African American rhythms and harmonies.
