Hi.I bought and installed Famous Acid Patterns 1 on my TD3-MO. Make shure you are using Synthtribe 2.5.7. Also this version is not supposed to sound like a classic 303, check out Kai's video comparing it to the original Devil Fish mod, sounds pretty close.
Hey ! i followed you td3 mods via Facebook post, it is real pleasure now to play with my td3 ! thanks a lot ! my question is : is it possible to mod the td-3-mo to have the liquid sound or square adjustement like the td3 mods ? when i listen to the td-3-mo i guess it's not as "acidified" as expected & resonance still harsh ( not musical ) like the stock td3.....did you find the time to open it it to see or try to modify it ?
they are so cheap, just buy and own both td variants. they serve different purposes imo and I’m so glad they sound different. why would you want them to sound exactly the same anyhow? once you drop it into the mix it’s very hard to distinguish between a tb, tt, xoxbox, td, dinsync, software or hardware emulation etc.. I own 3 different hardware variants and to me the abstrakt instruments avalon synthesiser sounds better than ANY 303 ever, even the original!
The MO can sound like a 303… I suggest having a look at the Devilfish manual which gives you a starting point for it to sound “un-modded”… I have a TT-303 for straight up 303, the MO is just what I was after for the “evil” without the insane price tag 😂
i have both. once you figure out that the ranges on the MO are a bit different, and how the new shit interacts with the rest you can figure out how make them sound the same. i honestly like both for different reasons. the orginal design that the td3 is based on is pretty focused in a nice way,. the MO is easy to dive to deep fast and lose your thickness if that makes sense. fun nonetheless :)
Nice session mate
Holy crap this sounds good, I just got the regular TD3. This version is next
Awesome!

@@andreastuschewski6198 i dont want them to sound the same, i want them to sound "liquid" :-)
@@itrema This is what the original has over all the clones. A RE-303 is the answer .
@Unidance-ow2wt yes for sure, re-303 is same circuit, not a clone. You just take care to fit the right components and you have the real deal

@@christopheronald Yep, the “Devilfish” mod makes things really interesting… it’s all about understanding the new control interactions 👍🏻
@@emdebee I'm annoyed with the overdrive 😐
@@christopheronald Just gotta learn to turn it down to around 1-2 o’clock 👍🏻
@@christopheronald I agree. But there are territories where the MO can't go and vice versa.
