this didn't actually explain how to add or modify the x and y axis.
Yea ik!
Horrible programming on google's part. Shouldn't have to look this up. Thank you.
@Alijah Khalil @Noah Luka Wow yall suck at scamming.
i cant stand google. just keeps saying no data
You have to select the data before making the chart
How do you make those columns?
My teacher sent me this
@Lucas Bort Sancho same
feo
My gosh thank you so much ily!
I know Google Sheets couldn't be that bad so I must be missing something- when I enter a set of data for an x-y chart, it doesn't scale the axis based on the min and max values, but simply generates markers based on each data point, so there's really no point to the chart unless you take all the data in consecutive fashion with no missing steps.
Excel would do this automatically, and also allow an option for fixed scaling if you choose.
Don't see how to do this with Sheets, so I'll have to poke around some more and see where the option is hidden.
Not sure what you mean, exactly, but the scatter chart in GS allows you to specify a Min and Max. You can see in the video at 4:08 via Customize > Horizontal Axis. A Line Chart does not scale the horizontal axis values, so perhaps you have created a Line Chart instead of a Scatter Chart.

I think the problem was that Google Sheets defaulted to "treat labels as text" so it simply plotted discrete points instead of placing them as values on a linear scale. Once I unchecked it, the points plotted as expected.
it helped alot tnks
Suppose each individual tree has a name (not to be mistaken as tree type).
I want something like, whenever I hover my cursor over a data point, it would show me the name of the tree.
It it possible ?
Still I don't know how to add labels to the points in the chart
Thank you :)
thank you!
Bless!
Thanks this really helped
Words can’t describe how thankful I am for this video right now. I had a gigantic research paper and although I always use Sheets for my graphs the Axis were all messed up. The “Explore” tip helped me to get it sorted out. Thank you so much
you're stupid as fuck and all your numbers are probably 1, 2, 3, 4
A NP 😂😂😂🤣
wow thanks man
*woman
how much do u bench
It's way too quiet, I have to turn up my volume way up,
There is no EXPLORE button in the lower bottom of my google sheet what should I do?
If you aren't seeing at least that green balloon symbol (which when you hover over it expands into the Explore button), I have no idea.
This is actually an impressively horrible ui.
huh?
should of started of from the blank chart not with it filled out smh
Ok Karen
I want to leave a dislike on this because my teacher sent it to me, but I have to respect the 69 dislikes.
Edit: I forgot to mention, why the hell is it so quiet? I have to turn my volume all the way up and it's just abrely loud enough. Most videos on youtube I can watch at half volume and it's already loud.
bruh they removed the dislike button :(
@@yeatfan777 I have a funny extension that added it back for me but yeah most people can’t see dislikes now.
I hate physics
