Dan some of us don't agree with you for what you are saying so you have to owe it to your view. Yes Dr Nkrumah achievement was exceptional when it comes to sports and all the sectors no doubt and no one can be compared to him but let's distinguished some from the others. When Rawlings took over in the early 80's as a military man his first achievement from that poor state when who took over was to win the African nations cup, his regime saw the greatest boxer ever Africa had produces and other great boxers like Ike Quatey Emmanuel Clottey, Joshua Clottey, Nana Konadu and many more, then he produce a world dance champion like Adjetey Sowah, youth football under ET Mensah and MD Jawula saw tremendous success where in 1989 saw the Ghana youth to win the under 16 world trophy, 1991 won under 17 world football cup 1992 black star got to the finals of the African nations cup and lost to Ivory Coast. 1993 for the first time in the history of Africa we appeard in the Olympics football games final and won bronze medals, in the same 1993 fifa under 20 world cup we were the first African nations to appear in the finals with Brazil and lost with a Silva medal, then the same year under 17 world cup in Japan Ghana played in the finals and won Silva in the second position, in 1995 we went to Ecuador fifa under 17 world cup with players like Stephen Appiah Awudu Issaka Christian Sabah Camara Dini and the rest and beat Brazil 3-2 in the finals where the world was introduce to our football multi system by coach Sam Addey, Paha and the rest which that system we used to beat Brazil is what the world modern football had finetune it. Then in 1996 we again appeared in Atlanta in fifa under 23 world cup led by CK Akkunor and we're eliminated in the quarter finals by Brazil, in 1997 we went to fifa under 17 again in Egypt where we played in the finals against Brazil featuring players like Owusu Bayie and Laryea Kingston and the likes as we suffered defeat in the hands of the likes of Ronaldinho who was introduced to the game in the second half when we where leading and after the equalized he score the winning goal, in 1999 we went to fifa under 17 again in New Zealand with the like of Ishmael Addo, Don Bortey, Stephen Oduro, Sule Muntari, Micheal Essien John Mensah and placed third position with a bronze medal this same squad later progress to fifa under 20 in Argentina in 2001 with the exception of Stephen Oduro and Ishmael Addo and won silver as they lost against Argentina led by saviola in the finals. Rawlings regime under ET Mensah and MD Jawula is a remarkable regime and era of youth football and boxing which elevate Ghana on the globe and boom our economy where the price of Ghanaian players became very attractive to the world. This player graduate to the national team and we saw people line Stephen Appiah who was part of the 1995 under 17 youth team who won against Brazil in 2002 led some of his football age mate and his junior like Sule Muntari Micheal Essien John Mensah and the rest to make an impact in the first ever appearance in fifa senior world cup then it repeated itself in 2006 to 2010. My point is after Dr Nkrumah, Rawlings foundation in youth football can not be under estimated as the seed he sow gave birth to the black star we saw from 2002 to 2014 where that GFA chairman who was busy with self promotion with politics in the FA has destroy our sports entirely with some group of criminal politicians and so our youth football the foundation that hold the black star has totally collapse and the football administration is rotten exposing and affecting the field of play.. Dan any time you mention Dr Nkrumah never forget Rawlings achievement. Some of our football journalists are part of the current sports problems we are witnessing and one day most of you and the politicians will be called to answer questions and some of you will be prosecuted and sentence because you have done a lot of evil to Ghana. We are watching with keen interest
