The NPP as a political entity has not the slightest of respect for Fantis from time immemorial. They have only succeeded in convincing some naive,innocent,misinformed and probably ignorant Fantis to join them and support them for not much in return.
Also, some greedy self-serving Fantis have been awarded positions of power and influence just so they can help the party's tricky top brass to exploit Central Region's resources and to some extent Western Region too.
I'm not implying that NDC is much better and have some genuine intentions and ideas or any credible and far-reaching development plans for Central Region but at least,there's a certain level of respect towards Fantis.
On the real,Fantis should consider recruiting or mobilizing intelligent,disciplined, hardworking, patriotic,sensible,responsible,business-minded,passionate ,industrious and thoughtful men and women to form a strong political party they can fully finance and support to help change the fortunes of not only the people of Central and Western Region but also the entire nation Ghana and beyond.
Expecting NPP or NDC to show love and respect and to work on developing the two strategically placed and significantly important and valuable Central and Western Regions is suicidal in all aspects.
Central and Western Region are under represented,under appreciated and over dependable for votes when they need it the most.
I hope and pray that going forward, the people of Central and Western Region will know where they stand when it comes to politics of national development. The stakes are way too high to be taken for granted. Enough is Enough.
