I was at the Oklahoma City zoo last week; standing in front of the North American venomous snakes when i overheard the mom next to me telling someone all about you and Kevin. 😊 it was a heartwarming moment, thought you'd like to know!

@@kelseywilliams9616 Most likely, natural causes or it could be internal bleeding. I think internal bleeding happened to Lilith from the Reptile channel (I think that's the name of it). Again, I'm no veterinarian nurse myself.
Agreed 😢 I missed seeing him, an I never thought I'd cry over a King Cobra I've never met but that last video at the end had me bawling 😢 x
for the analytics: My fav part is how you always say "safe and secure" when you reattach the locks. It reminds me of Mr Rogers verbalizing when he fed his fish, for his blind viewer who was worried about the fish! You remind me a bit of that, in that I think you say it so nobody worries about your snakes being unsecured. It's a really nice touch!
I literally cried when I watched the video about Kevin's passing. We have learned SO MUCH because of you and your channel. You and Kevin had such a special connection. He was loved my millions and will be very missed. ❤

Kevin was a beautiful animal and made me love king Cobras. I went to the St Louis zoo a few days ago and when i saw their king cobra in their big reptile building, called the herpeterium, it reminded me so much of kevin..

One of my very favourite things is watching a snake accept food. I love feeding my ball python because she gets so excited about her food. She's such a sweet girl

The Bushmaster! She's my personal favorite snake. I just adore the coloration and while it's an awful reason why, but the lore behind them is just so interesting.
And I'm so sorry for your loss Kevin was awesome. My son Kevin cried when i told him. We stared watching you during Covid so he just thought it was awesome that his name was the same as your snake. Thank you for sharing your children with us. ❤
What I love most about you is that you got bit by a highly deadly snake, survived with having a finger amputated, and yet you still love these snakes every day and have never stopped. Truly a modern Steve Irwin.

@QWERTYOP80 as much as I love Steve Irwin, I think swimming over the top of a sting ray was pretty reckless... I think Steve would have loved Chandler! Any person who is a wildlife warrior he would have held in high regard especially when it comes to crocs and snakes ✌️
@@QWERTYOP80 you've got a really really selective memory regarding irwin. He was constantly putting himself in danger, he even received an enormous amount of criticism for holding his baby while leaning over and feeding crocs, Dingo whom most of us absolutely love does much of the same things Irwin did, and Dingo has almost paid for it with his life twice.

Owlhabitats in local zoos have more landing spots and several trees so the owls can kind of hide to watch their surrounding. Finnish mens national soccer team was nicknamed Eagleowls after on eagleowl stopped their match at the Helsinki Olympic stadium and Finland won that match.

Rip to Kevin, because of him and this channel i actually discovered I do have a passion for snakes and other types of wildlife , I always found them to be interesting but never took that leap into learning more about them and seeking that information out until recently

I'm really disappointed that we won't be able to see one of Kevin's kids grow up only if we had another year or two, but we must keep moving forward. we have a bright future.

I have learned so much about snakes from you that I love to share with my students-I totally have street cred with the 6 years old and under crowd from knowing random snake facts. I always say that even if you don’t love snakes, you can certainly appreciate the majesty of a beast like that and just respect snakes for the interesting species they are! I dont know if its the same for THOSE catfish. But i know that if you get finned by reg catfish be it Blues ,Channels , or Flat heads , you can rub the wound on THAT fishes belly and it wont only stop bleeding, but will stop most of the pain. Some kinda anti poison property , sounds crazy , but it works and ive had to do it numerous times in my 45 years of fishing in Arkansa.
Watching the cobras just observing chandler after getting a meal made me picture the weird worm guys that surround the evergaols in elden Ring

You Cape Cobras seem like your chillest of all venomous snakes. When you handle your Cape Cobras, they are laid back and completely relaxed.
