lucidology. com has a good flash timer, it's already set at the intervals listed. You do have to sign up though with your name and email address. They'll send you a sign-up package and a couple emails, but it shouldn't be too annoying. The site has a link to the timer and you can customise it. It also has a lot of information on OBEs/LDs, it may be useful.
The best time to try inducing an OBE/LD is from 2-6AM when your body is producing more adrenaline which will keep your mind awake. Have fun!

yes. use affirmations like. "i can chose whats better for me" "im getting smarter every day.." no more than 10 and always in positive. repeate them all day.. after 2 months, use paper and pen and write the prs and cons.. youll be amazed what paper and pen can do to clear your mind. you will not find the answer in just one sitting... you have to do brainstorm 30 minutes for at least 5 days.....you will find the answer.

  • @liviah1422

Use an alarm that'll go off at pre-selected intervals. Fall asleep normally and let the alarm do the work. When the alarm sounds, DON'T move and keep steadily breathing, you may fall into paralysis. And don't try it at night! It's a common mistake. You have less hormones to keep your mind lucid at night, making it near impossible to induce LDs/OBEs. The best intervals are (in order): 20mins, 8, 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 20 (in the 20mins you may have LDs), 6, 6, 6 etc. (likely time for OBEs). Good luck.

(continuted) Also, when you asked us to find a peaceful place, my mind would always switch from a large, open, grassy field, to a room in a small house. My scents would always change from cinnamon to lavendar and I found it really distracting, but the peacefullness went away if I tried to force one thought or the other. Suggestions?

    MUST WATCH PLEASE:
GET HYPNOTIZED IN FRONT OF YOUR COMPUTER:
    Professional Progressive Relaxation
I’m utilising hypnosis as a primary tool for assisting clients to achieve their goals. A hypnotherapist often differs from other therapists by focusing on the role of subconscious behaviors. These behaviors can be modified, good habits can replace bad habits, you can analyse and understand past events, deep rest and relaxation takes place and an overall state of well-being is gained.

Also, when I fall asleep(falling asleep takes two hours of agony) I wake up every 15 mins because of a horrific nightmare and I sleep like that for at least 9 hours. I tried this last night and I fell asleep in 15-20mins, (the woman was still talking), I had vivid dreams (in colour) and NOT nightmares as some here say. and i woke up after 6h befoe my alarm feeling like i slept for ages

I was really trying to relax and I felt good about it, until 26:30. With every thing being said I felt myself getting more sad because I didn't know how if I felt that way at all. And then it made me feel pressure like I should be feeling okay with myself and accept myself as a valuable human being. I don't know, but at this point I was feeling so distressed the possibility of sleep wasn't there anymore. I don't know I'm just going to try and get my mind off it, this was getting too serious...

Is there something I can do about this? These meditations are one of the few things that get me to sleep.

This was my first time trying guided meditation and it was very calming. I didn't fall asleep, but I did experience complete calmness and had a short vision. I really enjoyed your explination of the green heart chakra. I had a vivid dream after the video ended and I slept extremely late. Few things though... where does the negative energy go once you release it? Where can it find itself a home to transform into positive energy? (continued)

Jody! You're my fave bed time buddy, I sleep listening to your videos and have done for about 4 months every night now.. Every Ken see these negative comments it is because you explain to much before hand .. A slight suggestion, at begging of video offer a link on video straight to the meditation for those that have see your videos before! ( not a personal issue? I do not mind just an observation) You deserve no negative comments and more praise Than you have, I would happily pay for this! Xx
