- In this video, little 2 year old Olan is telling a story about a time he was bucked off a cow. We are trying to get him to tell a different story about a cow licking his foot and eating his shoe, but as you see in the video, he has other plans! This boy is very bright, full of imagination, and LOVES to tell stories!
He'd never get through a story... I'd smother him with hugs and kisses. He is adorable.
Yes, it would be hard not to love him up,and he wouldn’t be able to finish !
I love your comment
I’m right with you ❤❤❤
Same here! Preciousness! ❤
I love how he talks. So southern. Caww!
He could not be any cuter. Absolutely adorable. 🥰
“He buck me offf” ❤❤🎉
Watching RUclips is demonic supporting jesus lies the kids are mind wiped good reset they will forget everything except us our laws good
Toddler Gump.
He's like Ron (and Clint) Howard. There couldn't have been any boys cuter than them. Except my nephews. And this cutie ..ohh his voice!! I could listen all day!! 😎💋💋
As a born & bred southerner, this baby boy’s drawl is ADORABLE!! 💯🇺🇸❤️🔥
Me too!❤
Sure, if you like sounding dumb 24/7.
@@bigchief4044 - Awww, bless your heart! *Don’t be so bitter* about *never* being invited to *any* parties… I mean, if you learn to overcome your hatefulness, that coveted invite just might find it’s way to ya. 😂 Probably not, but maybe! Lol
I'm in Los Angeles, born and raised "city fella" who's always hated southern drawl, until now. The young man is beyond endearing, he's just special, drawl and all! ...he bucked me off, yeah, he bucked me off! I may teach "drawl" to my grandkids... but they have to stop it by middle school... it wouldn't make it in L.A.!😎
@@bigchief4044 Where in the southern US are you located?
4 years later still adorable. He was not going to be distracted from telling the story he wanted to tell LOL
The look on his face at the mention of the cow as if he just remembered how bad he wanted to tell the story! he was going to tell it!!😂😂😂
how it was a lil bitty cowww but it was different!!!
Watch, 20 years from now, he's still telling the same story. LOL
A true Southern raconteur in the making! It does my heart good to know there is someone to carry on the grand tradition!
He's a beautiful child, and a good story teller. 🐄 🐄 🐄
But let him tell the story that he wants to tell! LOL. He is a cutie
@@evelynmchugh4548I know!!! That was JUST THE cutest thing! I have a feeling there was a big cow story, and he wanted to tell his widdle cow story! So adorable!❤
Kids always tell the best stories.
@@juliejones974 , Amen
Agree he is a little ham😊
It’s so amazing how he cannot be swayed from the story he wants to tell about the little cow who bucked him off. I wish more parents understood that simply talking with a child, with patience and genuine interest such as these parents do, is everything! So many language skills are built this way (and it’s a pleasure doing it.). Thanks for sharing this great little guy with us! ❤❤❤❤
My thoughts exactly😂 he's a great story teller!❤❤
My son was premature, so tiny for his age. But he was so smart, & I talked to him all the time. He was so much fun. He looked about 2 years old when he was past 3, & he'd say things like " it's not my responsibility". The looks on people's faces were hilarious. He had a very strong accent very much like this sweet boy. I have a cassette of him talking about his imaginary " friend-man, Jim, " where he had a ranch up in the high country, where he had a diesel truck to move his horses & his KITT car, with his corralls, etc. It was a very long story & I almost cry when we listen to it. This tiny boy is now 6'5" with a daughter in law school- but still my baby!
Its very sad when you think about how many children out there do not get this type of support and trust. Its what bring a child out and shows him he matters. I could just cry.
"I cain't tay-al that storay." Too precious. And quite a prolific story teller!
"Im talk 'bout a lil coowww!!" He's the CEO of Cutie Pie, Inc. As a former Alabamian, he brings back memories of my childhood. God bless him & his little bucking "cowow"!
Being Southern, this is just everything to me... the two-syllable cowow is the sweetest thing.
Makes me proud too❤He is adorable! ❤Y'all know what I mean. ❤I could listen to him all day❤
Lord knows that’s gods baby
@@larry-kp9sp I joke that I’m fluent in both redneck and hillbilly. Lol!! This is hillbilly. ♥️
That was my favorite part of his story. Cowow.
I’m Southern, also, and just loved hearing that little cutie w/ his Souther drawl. Bet he says dawgggg, instead of dog.
So lovely to hear a little one being encouraged to tell stories like this. So important. He’s adorable.
Oh my God, I just love this beautiful little boy and his gorgeous accent. The innocence of children is so wonderful. I wish him all the very best in life. With lots of love from Ireland. ❤️🇮🇪☘️
I ❤ Ireland. I'm from Texas but am hoping to move to Ireland as soon as possible.
And I Irish accents!
The way he said”he was not calmin down” is the sweetest, cutest thing ever! Such a sweet boy! I love little kids☺️
The adorable way he shakes his dear little head at the end of his story is the cutest!. Wonderful parents for teaching the power of active listening so your children know you are paying attention.
I love when little ones tell stories of their experiences like this. So serious. ☺️
Little Olan must be five now. TREASURE him! Childhood vanishes so fast now these days. Enjoy him, and I pray he grows up to be a grounded young man.
He is the sweetiest little southern angel I've ever seen or heard ..
As an immigrant the southern accent was one of many accents that truly jus makes my day weather u r CONSIDERED intellectual polished or downright country. It’s jus simple beautiful, different and a joy to hear and hope he is encouraged to keep his accent and not made fun of.
Jus loving and appreciate it 👍
As a southerner thank you for this comment. I’ve been told this before but often we are thought to be ignorant or low class and made fun of because of our accent, and most of us are neither ignorant or low class. 😊
thank you shadoweagle4112-that's so sweet and kind of you!
@@jwmson7791 I’m a Southern Californian. I think it’s sad that regional accents are disappearing. I’m curious about this little boy’s accent, which is much more pronounced than his parents’.
@@genxx2724 I would agree about losing them but from here in southern Mississippi, I think they’re holding on pretty strong! It’s a reflection of our history and our ancestry. Good to connect here and I hope things are going well for you in Cali! 🩵
@@jwmson7791 Thank you, and I wish you well.
Olan is adorable, smart, and articulate. Kudos to Mom and Dad for giving him time and space to tell his story.
😍😍 he sounds like many old Irish people I heard spinning their yarns, what a beautiful little character he is.🥰🥰🥰🌻🌻
What a sweetheart. He can't tell the other cow story because he's telling the one about the cow that bucked him off. Deep love here for this little guy. He reminds me of my little brothers and sisters when they were that age and my mom and I would just listen and be enraptured. It was valued prize time I spent with my mother too.
As a British person I could just listen to this sweet boy all day his accent is awesome 👍🏻💕
Something I find amazing is the similarity between old English and southern American. I've read several articles by linguists who explain how different cultures make the sounds of their speech and it seems as the world moved on after England colonized the south, the southerners never changed speech patterns. There are examples on you tube. And lastly every southerner cringes at fake accent. I've heard accents I'd swear were legit when it turns out the speakers are either Scot or Welsh.
Me too 🇬🇧... He's lovely ❤️
So right
That’s so funny. As an American, I could listen to British people all day long....🇺🇸❤️🇬🇧
And it's not just his accent - he's just bursting to tell the story but can't quite yet get the whole thing sorted in his head before he speaks. He's going to be very expressive and communicative when he does.
I’m an Australian and unfortunately I can’t understand him but his facial expressions are wonderful. Cutie pie!
Rubbing his eyes at the end..he done wore himself out telling that cow story... What a doll baby🥰.." it bucked me off" 😂
Bull rider in the making 💞
God bless his beautiful soul! I loved his story with his cute southern charm.
I sure miss those days...
Bless his little heart, he's so very precious! As a southerner I could hear his drawl the moment he opened his mouth & said "Ohhhh-oooh". I could just squeeze the stuffin' outta him!❤😊
!!!!!!! xxxxxxxxx
This is how children should be raised-outside getting it done from a young age! Every little adventure he has with his mamma and dada are teaching him important lessons! Great job with this one mom and dad! Special time!
He’s a born storyteller! So cute!!❤
He's so precious. I just want to give him, and his little buckin cow, a big hug. He and his story has made my day! 🤠🐄. Thanks for sharing this with us... He's a ROCK STAR 😊 ⭐⭐⭐
“Don’t get me started on a second story when I haven’t finished the first story, dad and mom!” 😂😂🤣❤❤❤ I love it that you’re listening to him telling yarns like an old grandpa! ❤❤❤
I love how kids are so innocent and don't have to see what this world is.
Treat your kids like gold, they are the true gold of this world and that cuteness is temporary so love it!!
I could listen to him all day he is the sweetest little man and he is so excited telling his story ❤️❤️❤️❤️😘🥰🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Absolutely adorable! I could listen all day. What a cute little man. I love his southern accent😂❤
I Iove how kids get so into telling a story.Always use their hands and get very passionate.Always makes me smile.😁
Gets it from mom , he'll yell louder as she spends more time with him 😂
But, also, little kids get into telling stories because the world is still new, surprising, and enchanted for them. Every days an adventure
When he says the word "cow", it has THREE syllables!! LoL!! He is so adorable!
Cow has three letters, so that's plenty of room for three syllables!! . hahaha
Ca-ya-ow
Lol. That's what I was thinking. So cute.
... And his down has 3 syllables!
It's the best part 🤣 it uh yitttlle cuh uh owwww 🤣🤣🤣 melted my heart

He is one of the MOST ADORABLE BABY BOYS I'VE EVER SEEN, NEXT TO MY GRANDBOYS OF COURSE!!!! COULD LISTEN TO THIS PRECIOUS BOY ALLLLLL DAY!!!!
This little fella is just ADORABLE !!! I'm so glad I took the time to watch this. How precious !!! Thank you so much for sharing. ❤️
Too cute! I love the different accents that people have. Every one is a jewel in the treasure chest of humanity.
Now isn't his drawl the sweetest sound you've ever heard ❤ he such a cute.
That's the cutest sweetest most precious little boy telling a story about the cow that "Bucked him off." I can't recall having a little boy or girl telling a story in a cuter way. Immensely precious. Makes my heart happy. ❤ 🐄🐄🐄🐄🐄
He is absolutely adorable! I think I need to hear this more than once..❤
I am from southern Appalachians and I could just listen to this little guy all day. He is a cutie.
Oh my goodness 🥰🥰🥰
What lucky parents to have such a cutie pie telling them a story 😍😍😍
BLESS HIS LITTLE HEART!!! I absolutely love his drawl. A Southern accent is a gift from God and should never be discouraged. It seems to be leaving our country these days and I absolutely love this baby's drawl. God Bless Him and Y'all for posting this. When do we get more of his little stories?
This is a beautiful child! The parents are fabulous, taking time with and being patient. Lovely video!

I loved the way this little angel tells a story. What a sweetheart!
OMG! He has a southern drawl for sure and it is PRECIOUS! I was born in Tennessee so I know a true southern drawl when I hear it! 🥰 Adorable!
He reminds me of my little boy when he’d tell a story w/ his Southern Drawl. Unfortunately, he’s now 24 and moved to Oregon after college for a meteorology job. His Alabama accent is a distant memory.
@@denisek292 I recognized Bama in the house.
Definitely got from Daddy. His voice is the cutest too.
He just couldn't get any cuter and that accent 😍😁 is so cute babies perfection.
I can't even handle the cuteness!! He's like "DAD! I don't have time for a whole other story right now! I gotta tell THIS one!" 😂❤😂❤
Language and dialect is just freakin' fascinatin'. Imagine this same guy in rural Scotland. Same language...different planets.
Bahahaha!!!
All the thumb downs I hope your thumb breaks down. This kid deserved tons of love and respect 🥰🥰🥰
A writer in the making. I think all writers just love to tell stories. His little brain is churning for that story line creating sentences to feed the story. Remarkable.
You can tell he’s right there reliving every moment of that cow bucking him off! So precious! The head shaking!! He’s reliving every moment!! ♥️♥️
Omg he's the cutest little dude ever . Love the pure southern drawl ❤
You know you are southern when you ADD syllables to 1 syllable words. Bless your heart ✌🏻❤️
#debido2u I was raised in the South. Every time I hear the phrase you wrote, I remember one of dearest friends who always said, “You can say anything you want about anyone at all as long as you include the words ‘bless their heart’.” Thanks for triggering a wonderful memory 💜
🤣
My Northern grandmother used to swear that growing up I said "kay-oh". I finally realized that she just couldn't reproduce the Southern 'o'
@@RoRosRok I have heard that. But. I am literally from the old school of thought. We were taught that it meant what you said. Not anything derogatory but an endearing sentiment always ✌🏻❤️
We don't all talk like thayat, well maybe most of us due...
This little boys story is so cute and really paints a picture. A true rodeo clown on his little cow.
Olan’s accent sounds like the littlest boy in “Close Encounters.” Very authentic.
Southern accent is the best accent I would never want to get rid of mine it’s one of my favorite things about my life
I agree, I think a southern accent is fascinating! Thanks for watching!
It’s not an achievement- just an accident of where you were born.

Best example of a literal drawl with prolonged vowel sounds! He got me in stitches with coyow😂😂
His expressions vocabulary the way he talks with his hands are way over the top. He is an exceptional child and gifted
Aww, bless his little heart. No, seriously he was so desparate to tell his story and so emotional about it.
Smiled all the way through his story. The mannerisms and hand gestures are so cute; hope he gets lots of hugs and kisses. 😅
He is such a big little man and such a lovely story teller. Thank you from the UK
Thank you!!
He sure can't be moved from the story he wants to tell He is so adorable.
What a fabulous little baby boy, his accent is absolutely stupendous, and he is encouraged to tell his story, excellent parenting!

I hope you have gotten to see your family, and if not yet I’m praying you do soon and often. ❤️

This is like a psychological analysis of how to properly socialize your children through the act of telling stories.
Justin Hopkins, You are brilliant! What a wonderful observation! Thank you for that insight! I wouldn't have made that association! Great comment.
In the military i took a leadership course. We had to describe a process in front of the class without telling what the outcome was supposed to be. This was to facilitate communication and delegation of duties. We also were judged on the use of filler words such as: “uh” and “um”
Years later when I home schooled my kids, I had each of them spontaneously tell a story. They couldn’t use those same filler words. If they used a filler word then the other siblings would whack them with a soft pillow. It created a very limited amount of pressure and forced them to slow down and think a little more before they spoke. It didn’t take too long before no one could speak because we were all laughing too hard.
Agreed!!!
Telling stories is an art form in the south. In schools across the country, kids are taught about indigenous peoples all over the world and their use of oral history, how with the coming of the written word the need for oral history dies out.
I got to thinking about that. If you are a southern kid, you know that a gathering of friends and family, without fail, will have a story telling component. We've all had that elder, who MUST be respected or else, say "Come over here Sugar, I wanna tell you about the time....." In your head you're saying "OMG, not the story about Grandaddy, Uncle Mike and how the cow set the house on fire!!" AGAIN. But you sit and listen politely because to do otherwise would certainly bring calamity when you get home. Calamity in the form of an embarrassed mother of a child who hasn't been taught "right".
In these long ago and/or other cultures, does anyone wonder how this oral tradition works? Did those kids hear a story once and it's remembered forever? I got a mental picture of the tribe, sitting around a fire. The elders using the oral history traditional way. I know, KNOW, there were kids thinking "OMG, not this one again. Please not how the moon maiden fell and as she landed stars gave light to the sky"
Or
"If I hear how Joe, son of Moe, uncle to Curly the Great, saved the tribe.."
We learn through repetition. Now when my grandkids get that look because a "Granny Story" is coming I tell them
"One day, when you are grown-up and I am gone you will want this story. You'll understand it is a piece of me, a gift".
Then, because they're being raised "right", they say yes Ma'am and I can barely see the twitching effort to keep the eye roll under control.
Ps anyone have an angry mother say "You roll your eyes at me again & I'm gonna slap 'em outa your head!"
@@AVToth Oh my goodness, Amy, your writing skills must be right up there with your oral storytelling talents. I laughed out loud at the internal dialogue of the kids as ole pappy sat rocking in his chair getting wound up for the retelling of the family lore and then again around the tribal campfire. Great stuff. Have you ever written anything? I bet you're a natural. Thanks for the smiles.
This is just the sweetest thing and he is more than precious. I could listen to him all day.
Literally glad I’m alive to see that. So precious 💕🙏🏻🙌💕
