@@rohitror3352 1) As your laptop has very low specs, you should use a light weight linux distro instead of windows XP. 2) Life of Hard Disks are small and its speed decreases drastically with such a long period of time. It could be one of the major reason behind your slow laptop. Upgrading to SSD will definitely increase speed. 3) Use Virtual RAM. Using virtual ram after upgrading to SSD will give better results. Note: Even after doing all these things you will not be able to do moderately heavy tasks because of low specs. You should consider buying a new computer if you can afford. It will be a better investment in long run as compared to buying a new SSD.
