Amazing how much more badass the boots are with a black vibram sole. My dad said not to get black vibram soles but get honey vibram because people will hate you for marking up their floors lollll... but come on, the black vibram just looks sooo good! 😅
Took a couple months pain to get them to settle, and, they tend to size them differently, mine are 1/2 a size too big. but they are lovely boots. for sure. It's a nice change form the disposable 'light hiking boots' I used to buy, that would fall apart after a year.
May the wedding go wonderfully, and yet be merely the start of a long, happy, and fruitful marriage. The 18th of October is a lovely date - well into the beautiful autumn and well before the cold weather really sets in. Congratulations and Best Wishes to you both!

These didn't look too bad, looks like light work or every day wear. I just don't like the fact that for the price point they tend to have a bunch of inconsistencies (crooked stitching, poor welts, channel not cut into soles causing stitching to wear quickly, boots with misshapen toe boxes) and that if you can buy these at retail, reviewers have stated store employees give them a hard time with returns/exchanges. Never seen a pair of Nike high tops with a Christy sole. Nicely done work!
I'm tempted to take a pair of mine into you, those logger soles are far better suited than the mini lugs for wet Edinburgh cobbles etc. What's the turnaround mate?
I bought some used Red Wing boots and the insoles are worn into the shape of the last owner's feet. is it possible to resole them and get a new insole so I can wear them in? or just get new boots?

Don't refit. Do an original resole with same material, shape and so on ... Don't change anything as cobbler say!
