For many us Chileans this is what we had as family cars, you put a roof rack on it, put your whole family, and thats how you went for a vacation, sometimes it overheated, so they had to put metal sheets to redirect more air to the radiator! Long live the fito! (thats what we called it)
Hello Thank you for the interessting comment about the Fito. I like storys like yours because it shows how this car is used all over the world. Have a nice week.
I lived in Ethiopia in the late 1960s and these Fiat 600s were the standard taxi cab in Addis Ababa. They were so ubiquitous that the word for taxi was “seicento” - the Italian for 600. I rode many times in these little cars, sometimes with 3 other passengers. There were larger cabs, too, but they were all called seicentos.
Fantastica!
Buona domenica e saluti Luca
This small Fiat is TOPS. The current Mitsubishi Mirage will long be remembered as being in the same league as this Fiat. I hope Mitsubishi doesn't discontinue the Mirage for 2025. 🙏🏹♐
@@lucadrivechannel Yes! It has 32hp, i think it's at the flywheel. Somewere I saw this model was also listed 25cv. I think they we're at the transmisión output. So I saw the 767cc (model D and E first series) was listed with 32hp or 25cv, the 797cc (model R) with 36hp or 28cv and the 843cc (model S) 42hp or 32cv. A datal on models manufactured in Argentinia.

Is this Switzerland?
Yes it's Switzerland. Where are you from?
@@lucadrivechannel ah, I thought so. I’m from Holland, and I’m also halve Swiss. Beautiful country and beautiful 600!!! Thanks!

25 hp
No it has 32HP because the engine has 770cc and 23.5kW
23.5kW × 1.36 HP/kW = 31.96HP
@lucadrivechannel Fiat 600 D motor 767 CC 18 kW = 25 CV. 4800 rpm. ( 18 x 1,36 = 24,48 CV)
@@josemariaarino854 belive it or not it's 32HP

I add a foto of the original car papers for you to the community of my channel, there you see it has 32 HP. Have a nice day
