Just because three other Transformer lines did Cheetor is no reason not to do a fourth, right?

#Transformers #Cyberverse #Cheetor
If only Cyberverse did figures like this since the beginning, it could have been the Animated of his time.
Ikr
I love this figure… although does anyone else see a bit of Beast Machines Cheetor omage with how the Energon upgrades work in the Beast Mode?
Definitely some BM, Night Slash, and TM2 influence
He's better-equipped than the Kingdom one.
I would love to see Fuzors in a future Transformer serie, but I'm happy to see Beast Wars transformers.
There’s a few in Cyberverse I recommend watching it
"foremost Kamen Rider Decade apologist"
We'll see about that...
Cool! They kept the shoulder scythes from BEAST MACHINES?!?
Getting some hard BM Night Slash Cheetor vibes from that armor mode, mostly the blades in the shoulders.
Would love to see more Cyberverse Deluxes honestly
Three things...
1. You were attempting to put the mask on his arm upside down. I did the same thing the first time I tried it. That said it does look better as chest armor than just stuck to the side of his arm.
2. I can't believe you transformed him without his cheetah head popping off. I have that issue with my copy where I literally can not transform him without pulling his head off. The robot mode horns are a tad too long so there's no enough clearance to move that cheetah head over it without pulling the head off it's hinge. Emgo had a similar issue though in his case it's just a loose hinge and no issue with the clearance.
3. Both you and Emgo made a battle cat joke... me on the other hand, I'm looking at the armor bits, specifically the Saber Toothed TIGER mask and wandering when Hasbro is going to release the Tigatron version of this mold. I love the look of the armor I just don't think it really fits Cheetor cause that mask is clearly molded after a TIGER. Tigatron was never in Cyberverse but I honestly wouldn't mind picking up this mold again as I think the armor is more suited for Tigatron than Cheetor anyway.
Ok, i like your armor configuration in robot mode better than the official one
I guess the best cheetor figure
Thank you for the review! As a Cheetor fan since the 90s I was excited when this you was revealed.
I think some of us got this to customize-repurpose as Catilla.
Those green claws ending up on the robot mode shoulders gives off Prime Thundertron vibes, which is funny cause his figure got repainted into Alpha Trizer.
That battlecat mode is just LigerZero from Zoids.
It's armored up mode gives a vibe similar to Beast Machines Cheetos, but good
Great review as always TJ
Algorithm attacked for 1486 damage! Great vid TJ I like the polygon look of this Cheetor, may need to get one for my desk
lol Great review TJ! Interesting figure.
I like the energon armor pieces.
Okay I hadn't payed attention to the Cyberverse line but now I understand why you like it. This does look like a good deluxe. I might need to look into the line more.
A good figure !
Finally, they made a figure of Cheetor from the PS1 game.
Great review. Keep it up
The armor makes Cheetor seem to homage both Transmetal 2 Cheetor and Beast Machines Cheetor in a very nice way that does not take away from the Cyberverse aesthetic.
"KAMEN RIDER DECADE APOLOGIST"
I will opening admit that i really like the Cyberverse and it makes Cheetor look very interesting and blocky, which is neat to me.
Though, can someone tell me if Cyberverse was actually good? After getting burned by Robots in Disguise I was, and still am, hesitant to watch that show. I know it’s a new continuity but it can still suck.
I haven’t seen it but I heard the later seasons are good
Cyberverse Season 1 is just okay, but it’s not bad by any means.
Season 2 is great however.
And Season 3 is phenomenal. I love season 3 so much. The second arc of season 3 has some of my favorite Transformers moments of all time.
I’m quite glad Cyberverse is still alive in some way. Still hoping for an Astrotrain!
great show, I've been watching it over and over
The armored beast mode's aesthetic kind of reminds me of Beast Machines Night Slash Cheetor.
Again?!?
If this was a saber tooth tiger and not a cheetah I would want this figure so much more
The head reminds me of yellow Saber Fang
Is the armour a Catilla reference? The pretender beast.
His cheetah armor mode reminds me of his beast machines beast mode lol idk why
Excellent figure.
great toy!
Am I the only one who thinks those blades are a beast machines reference?
I was considering getting one of these instead of the Kingdom version, but that cheetah mode (particularly how the back end is so clearly just the robot mode legs) and the Rory Calhoun transformation are making me reconsider. I think I'll just wait for Rise of the Beasts, confident in the knowledge that between this, the Kindom version and the Netflix version there'll be plenty of Cheetors floating around the used market in case that one also turns out to be a dud.
Of the three available I think the Netflix version has the best Cheatah mode. There's no blue paints on the legs to distract you, so it looks cleaner, even if the robot mode legs feel more plain as a result.
the armored cheetah mode is either Battle Cat or to me something out of Digimon.
Huh, both EmGo and TJ review the same toy on the same day...
The Energon Armor kinda gives Cheetor a BW Bonzaitron silhouette to me...
Yeah I get the Battlecat references people have been making with this figure but to me he looks like Catilla. Obviously Battlecat came first and Catilla was based on him. It's just that we're one lazy redeco away from updating a figure I loved as a kid. It's only half a redeco away actually. Maybe I'll pick another up and do it myself. I only paid like $13 for it anyway.
At least this figure has the proper back kibble unlike the Kingdom figure.
Has a popped collar like a school yard punk
Edit: or Dracula
hey tj i have a question you have a website on your store?
Well this sure is for adult collectors... just look at the size of beast mode's robertsons.
3:47 That's what Bayverse designers said when they put stripes on Bumblebee
Which is why the stripes are the only good change they made to Bumblebee's design and why I like my RTS Bumblebee so much (although I think the Legacy of Bumblebee version was the best overall deco for that mould, the RTS version was still pretty good and could be purchased individually.)
I wish they had found a way to make the beast mode helmet double as a robot mode helmet
…but the cheetah head is like 4x the size of his robot head.
So he makes a joke about battle cat but not about the fact that it makes them look like beast machines cheater which it is clearly a reference to
"The foremost Kamen Rider Decade apologist." I didn't see Matt here.
So they gave him Beast Machines Cheetor's twin swords. Coincidence or intentional?
Do you sell these figures at your store?
acutally power of the primes titans return combiner wars brought us optimus primal and optimal optimus
If someone would get me one of those I'd make him into a battle cat but I don't want to pay ebay prices for a custom fodder, thank you bbts for not taking my card anymore
cheetah mode have a niple
They really should have just reused this figures base for the kingdom figure, proportions are much better here.
