Hello there, hope your doing well. I happened to have your video show up on my home page.
I truly enjoyed your reaction. Seems like it reminded you of younger days and dreams… and I can relate to that.
I have 2 recommendations even if you just listen to them alone by yourself
      1. Lighting crashes by the band Live and She talks to angels by the band the black crows.
In any case may you have a blessed day

Sweetie, your raw heartfelt emotions to this song helped bring my own tears out and i am a 63 year old man that remembers this song from my teen years and it still brings tears to my eyes when I really listen to it. I was born and raised in the south like Lynard Skynard band was and grew up with their songs and memories and just thinking back to the day of the plane crash that disrupted the the songs, music and the lives of this great band left us all with such emtyness and sorrow. Your tears to this song is like you dropping beautiful rose peddals for the very man that sang the very words to the song you just heard. Ronnie would be so greatful to know that those words touched you as they did. As I watched you read and listen to the words, I could picture you as a young mother of a son and someday telling him the very words that you weeped to in this reaction. This was the first time I have seen a reaction from you and I am so glad I got to experience this. Thank you so much and never hold back tears or emotions because they make us who we are and I totally admire those that express their feelings no matter what.

You did and it hit your soul.

Lynyrd Skynyrd is my favorite band ever. They just wrote and performed about every day life. Can't miss with them. Every song is a banger. Watching them live is the best way to feel the music. Great reaction. Thank you

It's refreshing to see the emotions music brings to you. You're one of the lucky ones. The wonder of music, where would we be without it? The lessons moms have been handing down to their sons for generations. Doesn't get any better than that. A classic Lynyrd Skynyrd song from the 70s. Allman Brothers and Skynyrd brought southern blue and rock to the world and it never left. Alot like Pink Floyd and many other bands from the those days, seeing those bands live was almost an out of body experience. You reacted to Skynyrd at Oakland CA in 1977 - Free Bird. 70,000 people goin' crazy.

It was obvious early in the song you were fighting tears. That's good, it means you understood the message . The song was written after the death of guitarist Gary Rossington's grandmother. Others have covered the song, but for my money no one has captured the soul and feeling that Ronnie was able to give us.

Great job with your reaction and thoughts on this song Simple Man from Lynyrd Skynyrd . If you're interested in hearing one of the best covers of this Classic Southern Rock song listen to Shine Down cover of it , side note the Lead singer of Shine Down is married to a family member of Lynyrd Skynyrd.

If you enjoyed the message of this song, you may also like "Humble And Kind" by Tim McGraw and "I Hope You Dance" by Lee Ann Womack. Both are messages from parents to their children.

Great reaction! Two other songs of theirs that I think you'll really love are "Comin' Home" and "Every Mother's Son". Each is quite underrated IMO. Ideally, you should watch the live performance of "Every Mother's Son" performed on the Old Grey Whistle Test (ruclips.net/video/UCn_YYqc3nc/видео.html).

Please don't be concerned about the face you might make, we were making the same. They know how to write a song that speaks to your Soul!
A mother's (or a mother figure's) love and care will always bring you back to the basics. This song makes you want to be there with them.
