This is a monthly cash-prize tournament that is split into three different game modes: Standard RA2, Yuri's Revenge, and Blitz. For each mode, we separate players into divisions based on their skill level: Pro, Semi-Pro, D1, D2, D3, D4, and D5 (for the noobies!).

Hey everyone! My name's Iver. Welcome to my channel: RA2 World Series. I host and stream pro Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 (Yuri's Revenge) games... and give the winners cash :)
My channel features a variety of RA2 gameplay, including professional 1v1 matches, 2v2 games, show-matches, multi-player, free-for-all (FFA), tournaments, and cash prize events. We also feature helpful tutorials, strategies, and walk-throughs, with tips/tricks for new players. I focus mostly on PvP, but I also do PvE occasionally, like 1v7 Brutal AI Enemy challenges, Allied Campaign, and Soviet Campaign games.
"Red Alert 2 Remastered" has yet to officially release, but until it does, I've created a variety of custom maps, tiny maps, survival maps, and mod maps to keep us all entertained! We have a great community of players of all skill levels... download the game today, and come play with us! :)

This is a Red Alert 2 game mode of my own creation. Tiny-map, no ore, build oil for money (max 12 oils). All Allied get all Allied bonuses (minus France), all Soviet get all Soviet bonuses. There is a 10min game timer. No engineers allowed.

I remember watching this live in pain as Luke wouldn’t backdoor the MCV in that fourth game. Felt the same pain on rewatch haha. Great matches though so can’t complain!!

And regarding the demo driver, I don't think they'd put any protection on them as they're not supposed to survive anyway. Just seal the payload well enough so the driver doesn't die too quickly.

We nerf GIs but not sov rinos? Having balanced maps in blitz is so hard. But watching sov go war war rino rino win win like on the other map is blah too
Rhinos are Red Alert 2. And they have been for 20 years. To nerf the rhino is to make a completely new game.
The GI rush is a newfangled issue that was created by the Blitz Mod increasing build speeds and decreasing map sizes. It was a problem the mod created so a problem the mod should solve.

Haha Blitz is actually pretty even without the GI rush. We have the stats for most maps and it's about 50/50

Are the rocket tanks for soviets disabled? Or was it not a good option in the 4th game?
V3 rockets are tough to use at the top level. They are fragile and slow unfortunately
@@Iver watched some more games and I figured it would get an instant reaction and get shut down fast. Was thinking of a quick snipe of an oil derrick to trigger a chain explosion but not sure how tanky they are.
Also want to say it's amazing what you are doing, creating a scene for RA2, great job man!

I am new to this. Is Yuri banned or weak ? And reasoning would be interesting, thanks. Me and my friend were considering to play in noob division, so we are just scouting a bit whats what.
Yuri is not used in the blitz mod of the game which is the version here where you build oil derricks. This is a customized version of the game that I made and it's just still kind of an experiment I didn't implement the Yuri faction because they are really complex and it would have been difficult to balance. But might add it in eventually!
You guys should definitely come play! We have a growing group of new players that are looking for games. All skill levels welcome :-)

Here's a different perspective on the OP GI's. Even if they are OP and being abused, at least the game is being played differently and its not the same old Rhino tank vs Rhino tank you see in almost every single game. You want this game to grow? Find more ways to force players to play uniquely. It keeps things fresh and exciting. Watching the same shit every game gets old very fast.
Totally agree! I created the Blitz mod with this intention in mind. But I can tell you...there is nothing fresh and exciting about 20 second GI rush points every game. Just catching the highlights on RUclips doesn't give a very accurate perspective. Your catching only a glimpse.
Also the GI rush is by far the single thing that has the most new players annoyed, frustrated, and quitting the game.
@@Iver I really enjoyed watching the GI rush. I think there might be a conflict between what players like and spectators like, and you'll have to figure that out. But i can tell you seeing anymore Rhino games makes me lose interest very quickly. In any case, thank you so much for keeping one of my favorite games alive, kudos to you.
Oh for sure! There's all sorts of whacky shit that spectators would love to see haha. But my priority is to entertain by maximizing the competetive spirit of the top players in the world. So it's always a balancing act.
But anyway I'm not talking about giving the GIs squirt guns don't worry, I'm talking about a small nerf that makes them a viable option and not an every game necessity.

Why don't you play real matches?

PS: the GI rush is not OP on this map. And the other comentator with his WHAT THE FUCK:) is really annoying, yes you can hold a rush of GI with tons of sentry guns and bunkers if you turtle up, big deal, even if the other player is all in. You still have to move your GIs to get in range of the sentry gun, so no, the GIs are not op
The GI rush completely dominated this map all month long in all the divisions. Now that you see the best players in the world present a solution it's tempting to think it's easy to stop. It's not. You should try it.
Qien was disrespectfull, what to expect he is Russian. Luke could have won this whole series, in the last game he shouldnt have done the naval battle but focus on tanks and air. Luke lost because Qien is better at multitasking, Qien deserved it because he is the better player but not sportmanship, that he didnt show.
It's online video game, not the Olympics. People are bad sports all the time. It has nothing to do with being Russian, don't be weird lol.

Your other comentator really sucks and its clear he doesnt know the game. Luke in the second game played it PERFECTLY. You dont need a base if you are ahead, you can sacrifice your base for a lot of tanks killed, thats what Luke did. He wanted to absolutely destroy the War Factory before thats why he didnt do something crazy. After that it was obvious Luke was going to win but your comentator sucks, he actually thought Qien had a chance:)) I mean come on it was clear that it was game over, Luke had everything INCLUDING uncontested Navy and a super powerfull army with prism tanks and mirage tanks. it was a clear GG
The people who help me out are volunteering their time for our entertainment. So try to be less of a dick.
Additionally, maybe you don't watch a lot of these games, but Qien could have easily won that point. I've seen half a dozen crazier upsets this week.

Not sure what you're saying but here's a breakdown...
The tournament each month has atleast $500 in Prizes.
I make $150ish per month from Twitch Subs and Ads, I make $50ish from RUclips ads. Cash donations range from about $100 - $300 per month.
Some months I break even, most months I lose like $50 - $100.
