Hey Fam! Thanks so much for your continued love and support! My Instagram account got hacked a few days ago at 80.5k😩 So I decided to start over. Please be sure to follow me on my new page @msnaturallymary_ instagram.com/msnaturallymary_?igshid=pei2vtr4q2u7 Thanks so much 😘🤗
Instagram can get hacked how old my goodness thank you for letting me know. I have friends that are asking me to be all of them and I already follow them so that must be it. And thanks for this video now I can do it on my own even though I know how to cornrow😉
I ordered the same hair but in a number 4 and it the curls did not look as smooth and defined as yours did..not sure if its BC 1B is darker but it definitely doesn't look as "juicy as yours" any suggestions on a product that will make it lool less cheap and frizzy?
Sis you just changed my whole life and you didn't even know it. This hairstyle is everything! PLUS I don't have to do the cornrows?!?! Jesus take the wheel and drive FAST
I am finally stepping out on faith. Trying to learn how to do my own hair. You have give me hope. I can do all things through Christ Who Strengthens Me! ❤
I am a braider but this is soooooo awesome!! The technique is a game changer. I had heard about crochet but just never really looked into it. I love this method because it's so care free and a protective style that won't tear out your ends like braids. Thank you, thank you, thank you Sistah!!!
I tried this no braid method with the cap over the weekend for a mother's day hairstyle and absolutely LOVED IT!!! In fact I think its the best crochet braid I have even done. Thanks for sharing...
@@TheMyshine09 well to be honest, for additional security I knotted each crochet once after two loops. After two weeks some knots were a little loose while others weren't. The loose ones were easy to take out while the tight ones posed a challenge. I had to cut those out and ran the risk of snipping my hair which I did in two instances. What I like with this method is that the crochet seemed and felt more secure or fastened to my hair than when I do the corn crows. This meant that I was able to keep it in for a little while longer than I usually do.
@@Jau664 I'm not sure but I believe so. If it is just through her hair, then technically it's a crochet wig. I crocheted through my hair and I felt like it was more secure, it laid flatter giving a more natural look. Some persons thought it was a sew in in fact. Hope this helps you out
This was so revealing and AWESOME. i AM 74 AND STILL LOVE MY hair!! Have totally gray hair but don't want all gray AND ITS REALLY HARD TO FIND ALL GREY CROCHET HAIR.
Honey! You just gave me pure life! I'm growing out a pixie (hate it), can cornrow on others but not so well on myself. I have tight curls and I don't like putting too much heat or relaxers, I like natural. With this method I can get my curly bob back! Thank you, thank you, this I can do. I'm so excited!
I know my friend gets tired of me asking her to cornrow my hair. You just saved me so much time and money. This literally looks like a twist out. It’s beautiful on you! 😍
😂 I can't do nothing, French braid, regular braid ,corn roll😫 but from this wonderful video and other beautiful sis videos I've learned to do crochet! Beautiful job ! #blackgirlmagic
@Spring Gass, sistah girl, what kinda childhood did you have... lol... I thought all Black girls learned how to do their own hair. No judgement - at first I thought it was some Becky creeping to appropriate our styles. While I can plat, cornrow and twist, them being tight enough for and install... FAIL. This video solves all. 🤗
Sis. You have changed my life. I moved into a well less cultured neighborhood for work and there’s no one here that does ethnic hair 😫 the stress was real and I’m living for this crochet method. You should totally show us how you do your makeup one day! Thanks so much!
OMG! That was soooo cute and fast! I am almost 70 yrs of age and my hands are becoming riddled with arthritis! And because of that I get someone to braid my hair down so I can throw on one of my many wigs, like the one in my profile picture. I used to be able to braid or weave my hair up, but no more, it's too painful. Your method has given me an idea to create this style for myself. I heard you say it only took you an hour, it will most likely take me longer, but I think it's something I can do. Thank you for sharing your creation.🙏💖
Love this method. I was able to twist my hair, place the cap, and then put in the crochet. I did not use this hair but still worked. It is surprisingly tight. Thank you for this video.
Yep, black girl majic! Aren't we awesome? Loging the chair dance music. I love these crochet braids like all the others you have done and i so appreciate the affordability. You look like a cute lil black barbie too. Keep 'em coming and i wanna see that baby blue cute dress or top u had on too.
I cannot braid or weave r French braid to save my life....you have changed my hair game in many ways...May God continue to bless your talent....thank you so much for this...
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I literally just went online and ordered me some crochet hair. I hate getting my hair done but I have no choice because I don't know how to braid. Now I have a way to do this without braiding my real hair... Game-changer! You have no idea how thankful I am for this video! You did that sis! 😘
Just ordered the hair! This was by far the easiest tutorial I’ve ever watched. I’ve done a similar style in the past using pre-twisted Senegalese twists, then unraveling. This hair has the same pattern without unraveling and all in one pack!
I am years late but I am getting ready for vacation and I'd rather spend my 150 dollars on food and fun. I tried this method and it came out amazing!! I have received so many compliments!!! I will leave them in for three weeks then let my hair breath for a week, then repeat for the rest of the summer!!! Thank you Mary!
Girl this video is giving me the confidence to try this braidless net method. I always cornrow but it's not always good for my edges. I love ur beauty and ur style 👑
This is so masterful. I love how creative we are. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I’m a delivery woman and I always need something that is easy and simple and that I can maintain while I’m out delivering things in this heat and sweaty weather. Wigs are nice but I want something that I don’t have to worry about
@@mrs.rwright5345 Honestly idk, you will sweat at 8am in the summer in H. What I do know is I experience more growth when my hair is laid down like in the same way you prepped. I feel like this is really a PROTECTIVE style and it would be worth the little extra heat.
I'm going to try this look for my next trip. And this tutorial makes me feel confident I can achieve it! Thank you so much for what you are doing! It came out beautiful
I am so happy, this is the first so easy way to get the braids in, l don't have much hair and it's very thin and sparsh but l used to make a tiny ponytail from the size of a boxy braid, make a next one but put the fist flat together with the second one in one elastic and so on so it was just like it was braided... And I am so in love with braids and twisted hair but being a very pale woman with bad health, it's not that easy and now I know that I can just make rolls to the back and attach it to the netting omg girl you are a real life saver!!!!!!!
Love it, I hope this is taken in the way it is intended, 4b and 4c hair can lay down and stay down for days the key is to apply the gel in layers not just on top and try to brush it through to the other hair, start from the bottom layer of whatever section of hair you're trying to lay down and work your way up slicking as you go and incorporating the layers together then "set" the hair that way by putting on a scarf until it's semi dry or all the way dry, you may be surprised by the results and it's key to start on "moisturized wet hair"...TFS!
MARY!!!! I’ve purchased 2 wigs and two different packs of crochet hair in less than two weeks messing with you 😂! You rock beloved. Thank you and your black girl magic❤️.
