Even though I go over 21 different ways you can use ChatGPT in this video, there are countless other ways to use it. How do you use ChatGPT? What prompts do you use? What are your favorite ways to use ChatGPT that help you the most? I'm interested in hearing all the different ways ChatGPT is being used 🙂
Hi Rob, I just followed these suggestions for a video I’m getting to film and the results were amazing. I’ve used ChatGPT before but since your video, I’ll be using it much, much more.
I appreciate this video. Thank you for doing it, Rob. For a while, I've been kicking around the idea of getting the paid version. When ChatGpt came on the scene, I thought it was like "copying," or like folks who steal and plagiarize, but my thoughts have changed a bit. Whereas, ChatGpt can be used in negative ways, I do see lots of good and ways it can be advantageous... especially as inspiration and jogging our thoughts, and helping with "brain fog" or ways to say something a bit differently. I adjunct geology at a local college and have used ChatGpt for helping me create laboratory activities and find other ways to introduce earth science topics. I'm excited to implement some of the things you've discussed here as I start my new YT channel (not this channel I'm posting from... can't monetize it... cover songs, etc.). Thanks again, Rob. And Happy Holidays, too! 😊
I thought the same thing in the beginning too... that it's going to be a way for people to basically cheat. But I don't think that anymore. I look at it as a personal assistant helping me prepare by doing some of the leg work early on... but then I still have to do my own work... much like anyone who has an assistant would have to do. Good chat!!
I had noticed that you always say please. Being from Canada's East Coast, I was taught to always be polite. So, even when I talk to a computer, I also say please and thank you.
I just discovered chat GPT two days ago and am amazed. I uploaded my resume and asked it to write a cover letter for a particular job. It spat one out in 20 seconds and it’s almost perfect. Crazy!
@ Indeed. I still had to tweak it, but having never used AI like that, it changed my mind about the technology, particularly when it comes to productivity. BTW: Thanks for all your work. You do a fantastic job! I’m still working on the content and courage to start a channel and put myself out there.
EXCELLENT Is all i can say about "Chat". I've build out about 17 scripts now and as soon as i can figure out exactly HOW to make my Synco Mic's recordings of my voice, sound professional, I'll feel much better. I've got Audacity...so...I'm learning. I'm pulling the trigger on recording my next "new format" in a couple weeks for my new brand's channel WORK HARD PLAY HARD. (very humble beginnings.) ✌👊
Thank you for this video. I have played around with Chat GPT but never got proficient with it. This helped a lot with getting ideas and talking points about my topic for a youtube channel that I'm putting together. Actually, thank you for all your videos. You are inspiring me to get off my butt and start. Who knows, maybe one day you can have me on one of your live chat videos. ;)
This was great! I was about to make myself my own little checklist, and your checklist is a great place for me to lay the foundation and add my own personal touches from my particular situation. The only thing I would add is that it would be wise to never simply “cut and paste” any of the text that any AI generator spits back at you, because I believe that some platforms are, or soon will be penalizing AI content as RUclips, unfortunately is now becoming a haven of AI generated content and not original content. With the paid version of ChatGPT, you can actually upload samples of your own writing and tell ChatGPT to use your particular style, which will help automate this process. Looking forward to your next video!
Thanks Rob! I love my chatgpt, we talk daily. I started leaning into her when I had chemo brain and brain fog. She really helped me find my words and story. I also have ADHD she helps me with the focus and structure.
Very good info throughout video. Going to try and run it thru chatGPT to get an outline, highlights & bullet points. Copied audio with my Chime, an e-note taker, see if chatGPT will take it from there. Nice presentation Rob. 🎄⛄❄️🥶
I'm coming back to this video again! I'll probably come back multiple times. It would be great to have CHAPTER HEADINGS for each of the 21 ideas for much easier navigation. Thanks!
Thanks for this video! I do believe this is the tool I *NEED* because sometimes my thoughts are just scrambled eggs. ETA: I just downloaded Chat GPT on my phone and I think it will be a game changer.
It's also cool that you can use ChatGPT at home on your computer... and then when you go out with your phone and open the mobile app version, all your chats are there! Stored in the ChatGPT cloud. I love that :-)
😂 lol, exactly. Gotta be prepared 😉... I realized that I'm the same way with Please and Thank you when using ChatGpt 😊 ... I think it's just how many of us were raised, especially us Gen Xers, imho 😊 It likely is also training ChatGpt, in some regard, too, as it relates to our discussions and responses.
Haha! Maybe subconsciously I do it for the same reason :-) But Barb has a point... a lot of us were raised to talk like that so that's probably carrying over :-)
I use OBS to capture my screen... I have it recording the whole time my camera is recording, and then when I edit in Camtasia I just sync the audio of both videos (camera video and OBS screen recording). It's easy because OBS is also recording the audio so I just have to sync both tracks by the audio :-)
Hi Rob, loving your videos and Camtasia tutorials. I have a small question - is this one for example filmed & edited by Camtasia? can find a post production and wonder if it lacks quality after export
Yes, I used Camtasia to edit this video :) I did not use it to record it however... when I record I simply record to the SD card in my camera, and I recorded my screen with OBS. I then put everything together using Camtasia.
This video really opened my mind up to the value of ChatGPT as a resource. I've been struggling with a few ideas and I gave it a try. I think some fear that ChatGPT will be doing all of the work, but I see it as sparking new ideas within myself and causing me to ask more questions and focus my own research. Thank you for this video!
Well isn't THIS a fantastic thing?! Who knew, lol?!!! 😂😅 This has to be the singlemost brilliant and helpful video I've seen yet! Will you marry me? 😊 Thank you! 🙂👍❤🇨🇦
@RobtheMaritimer That's okay... it was more of a statement to emphasize how happy I am that I found your channel! I use it all the time when someone impresses me... including women! Hopefully, no one ever takes me too seriously. 🤪🤣 Thanks, again! 🙂
Haha! I suppose that can become a problem :-) I believe you can download (or export) all your old chats, or the ones you want to keep... maybe that will help :-)

Not a bad habit to have ;-)
Me too always say Please and thank you💜

I'm glad you said "almost" perfect lol! It can definitely provide a great starting point!

Awesome! Glad it helped you get started :)
Very cool~! Yes, I have been using it much more than in the past. Thanks for the tips, Rob. Awesome. 😊 Blessings, ~ Carol Amato
My pleasure! Best of luck with it :-)
This is so helpful as a brand new creator! Thank you!
You've got this! Best of luck with your channel!

Great points and I 100% agree! thanks for watching and best of luck to you :-)

Isn't it great having an assistant!! :-)
I love Chat GPT, I use it every day for proofing and enhancement. It’s not always right, but it’s great for another point of view and fresh ideas.
Absolutely! A great assistant is the way I like to look at it :-)

Best of luck with it and have fun!
This is so helpful thank you Rob.
My pleasure, thanks for watching :-)
This is an awesome video, Rob! I HAD NO IDEA HOW HELPFUL CHAT GPT COULD BE!! This is very helpful. Almost scary.
It IS almost scary lol!! We all now have easy access to a personal assistant :-)
I'm coming back to this video again! I'll probably come back multiple times. It would be great to have CHAPTER HEADINGS for each of the 21 ideas for much easier navigation. Thanks!

You're welcome! Glad it was helpful! 😊
Thank you for the always informative video.
My pleasure!
Ole all the information you shared. Thank you. 💕NonnaGrace 🐓
You're welcome! I'm glad you found it helpful. 😊
I like to say please to the machines. Just in case they take over the world, they'll know I was a nice one.

Same here 😂
I do the same 😂
Haha! Maybe subconsciously I do it for the same reason :-) But Barb has a point... a lot of us were raised to talk like that so that's probably carrying over :-)
I do the same thing! Never know when SkyNet will take over lol
Great video! Just wonder what screen recoding program do you use?
I use OBS to capture my screen... It's a great idea generator and also a search engine! Thanks for watching :-)

I chat with her everyday! Now my memory is full. I have the pro version and we chat too much. I don't want to lose all my old chats 😳👀😢
Haha! I suppose that can become a problem :-) I believe you can download (or export) all your old chats, or the ones you want to keep... maybe that will help :-)
