I did buy this little pa and it's superb, what sound. It was so good a bought a second one but was completely disappointed in connecting them together. I put up a video on my channel showing this. I contacted the company and they said my response was normal. I am using this as my guitar amp and quite happy with it.
I do not have the same one, but I bought a Powerwrks that I saw on ebay that is almost identical and I just love it. Mine does not have any effects, which I use when I play through my PA. I need all the help I can get.
I'm assuming you would be able to sing over the top of the music playing from your phone in a karaoke fashion.? Could you confirm or deny. Looks like a great speaker for that purpose for a house.
Yes. The 1/8 Stereo jack in the third channel is perfect. I use this PA still today when leading the ukulele group. I use my iPhone or iPad as a drum machine into the third channel. Best of luck.
thx for the review. They sound great for plugged in acoustic guitar. Can fill a 25'x25' room with 10' ceilings. Love the price too! I meant using 2 chained together I can fill that size room. If you angle them left and right, it's like the Fishman or Bose array. Sounded fantastic with a Martin acoustic plugged straight in. I'm buying two. Might get more if I can get them cheap!
"won't you play a simple melody...." =) hey thanks... now i feel excited and not so scared to play to others on the streets! i will definitely try the speaker out 💐
the third input would be two RCA jacks into a Y, which turns it into a 1/4 plug, and that works, along with guitar and mic inputs? AND THEY ARE ALL SEPARATE CHANNELS, WITH THEIR SEPARATE CONTROLS? Thanks, sounds good!!!
The third input is an 1/8 inch stereo Jack ( just like most mps players headphone jack). Each channel has its own Bass, treble, and Volume. Also there is a master volume.
I was asked to try it out for someone and I only had it overnight. I did like it and my have to buy one or two for myself soon. So do you have one and use it a lot?
The Kustom and Powerwrks looks like they were made and the same factory and different labels put on them. I thought about the no Reverb issue also. I have a Digitech Vocalist Live 2 with reverb to put in the signal path. Some Vocal Pedal with Reverb might be your fix. There are more pedals for vocalist today to choose from.
Can I plug a guitar, microphone, and midi player into it at the same time? In other words, I need a pa with 3 inputs. It has a powered 50-watts built-in, where it does not require a separate powered mixer? Does it come in a larger format--more power, and more inputs? Thanks, Bill
Yes. Three channels. Channel 1 and 2 have both XLR and 1/4 inch jacks. Channel 3 has an 1/8 inch stereo Jack for MP3 input. I now have two of these and use them regularly.
Yeah, I have a Live 2 also and it works great. I agree, they look like they were made by the same manufactor. Keep up the great work! I enjoy your posts.
Thank you. I hope you enjoy. We used ours for Open Mic Night and it worked well. I really like the whole idea of linking them and getting more channels.
im looking to save some money and need an amp for guitar and bass. i just need it as a practice amp to get the job done. doesnt need to be loud or sound perfect. would you say this is a fine system for bass and guitar
Well I didn't run a bass through it but it sounded good with my mp3 player playing a track. Since this video I use this for a performance where we used to mic for picking up two vocals and two ukuleles and it did a good job. If you pick it up at a store that lets you return if not satisfied... why not try it.
Not bass guitar, but electric guitar sounds good, I use HeadRush Gigboard. Sounds great to practice. The low frequency response is 65 Hertz, and that is the absolute bottom [comfortable at 80-100 Hertz]. For bass guitar you'd need something to go down closer to 40 Hertz.
I have two now myself. No it does not hurt them to be on their side (Handle facing up). Both mine units have feet on the side opposing the handle indicating that it's made to be sat that way if needed. I hope you enjoy yours. I've been using mine to amplify my drum app in my ipad during ukulele club meetings.
O yeah I didn't notice those side footies. I'm gonna lay mine on top of my spider 3 combo amp so I can still use the reverb instead of buying a reverb pedal that I can't affoprd right now. thanks for the tip
Jonathan Keenan FOH? I use two of these and a Kustom powered floor monitor. I use multiple mics, plugged in instruments, and a drum machine to run a ukulele club.
I just ordered one from Guitar Center to use when I do small solo gigs. Hope it can do the job.

What do you mean that you were disappointed in connecting them together? I was planning on buying another for that reason.

Yes, each unit you link adds its inputs. If there are 4 units linked all of their inputs will be available.
Thank you, rpashoukos said he had issues when Daisy Chaining them. Bummer.
My brother is sending me one for Father’s Day! Thanks for your video
I think you will be happy. Best wishes.
@@Jazzbanjorex appreciate it! You think if I hook up a distortion pedal I can play an electric guitar through it?
@@SNAKES29 if you have an amp modeler as well

+steven vaughan I have two that I use together monthly at our open mic night. I use one weekly for solo shows.

Joy Beats It needs to be plugged into a power outlet. It’s not battery driven unfortunately. But I use it weekly for years now.
aww darng. good lookin out. i'll look for something similar, but sound is awesome!
These are perfect, just add a small mixer with fx to warm up the vocals and your good to go for your solo acoustic stuff.

Let me know what you think. I plan on getting one since this was a loaner.
Those little PA's are great!
Did anyone try it with a keyboard ? I'm considering buying a second hand Kustom PA for my old Yamaha CP30.
Thanks
Not what me. I think it would do well.
Bass? Can you hear the bass at all?

I just ordered one, so I guess the "sale" price stays the same. If this works out well I'll probably get another one. Thanks for the review.

Thanks for the video of this Kustom PA 50
You are welcome. I’ve sold mine and regret it. For small venues I wish I had them. I had two and linked them all the time.
I just bought one. Do you think that if you kept it sideways, (with the handle facing up) that could damage it?

I've thought of getting the new Peavey VIP amp that works for electric, bass or acoustic (or ukulele).
could you use two of these for FOH? putting drums guitar and bass through these with subs?
Jonathan Keenan FOH? I use two of these and a Kustom powered floor monitor. I use multiple mics, plugged in instruments, and a drum machine to run a ukulele club.
Jazzbanjorex what I ment to ask is could you run a mixer into these for live sound with a 5 peice band going through these?
Jonathan Keenan Oh yes. I plug my Yamaha mixer into it all the time.
@@Jazzbanjorex How do you connect your mixer into the pa50? I’m thinking that an unpowered analog mixer would work best?
@@dougpearson4244 the PA50 puts out a constant Phantom power on its XLR inputs. Don’t use that with a mixer. Use the 1/4 guitar input.
well done. Good recording of it all. Thanx!
Thank you.
Very good video man, this song sound great!
Thanks
Can I connect an electric guitar>
Yo FS Sure. But I would use an amp simulator effects pedal.
I agree. I need one or two. This was a loaner.
You sound good!!! Has a decent sound for being so portable.....
Bill Last It is decent for a portable unit.
