You are honestly my favorite Orianna and Syndra content creator out there. You make both champs look so easy with how skilled you are and no idgaf if this video is only on PBE because you still do well even on live servers. Build is essentially:
First Strike
Triple Tonic
Biscuits (For Max Mana)
Cosmic Insight
Secondaries:
Manaflow Band (Necessary to skip tear, otherwise take G.S. if going tear)
Transcendence
Stormsurge -> Sorcerer Shoes (Or Lucidity) -> Shadowflame -> Rabadons
Situational Items would be Banshees / Voidstaff / Zhonyas. You can finish Seraphs if you want but I think its suboptimal. Since you're playing around your true damage on W / Ult along with Stormsurge AP ratios, it's more valuable to rush rabadons third.
The main issue with this build is haste, but I think it's pretty fun and almost impossible not to one tap targets.

No, I think mana usage is non negotiable on other mages. Syndra just has too much mana efficiency from her passive and combos
If you don't like Caster's. Malignance actually works well for her in my testing. Always appreciate more uptime on her ult and since the MR shred begins as soon as the take damage, every orb past the initial hits harder.
I think Casters is more flexible than malignance at least because you're able to play through any variation of spell usage from the passive system. I think Malignance is an interesting purchase on her but maybe too forced. The magic pen is conditional on using ult which is the last bit of your combo.

Hey Zianni, new viewer long time Syndra/Ori fan - recently got back into League - I know this is somewhat old so I'm looking for clarification :)
Are you still dead set on skipping lost chapter? I'm just thinking the mana item gives your champ more agency, while tear seems like a budget/band-aid, though I have rarely considered Archangel on mages besides Ryze/Anivia.
26:02 I was thinking you lose tempo and presence on the map every time you have to reset due to mana, don't get me wrong, at this point in the game you have 1k to spend and you have spent your gold on more efficient items. I see a world with mana you easily kill Teemo 1v1, then clear scuttle to regen health, and clear mid-lane with another optional back around 2k gold.
I really like the map and items, I hope they update the game after cleaning out the bugs.

Question about the casters. It says that it is 54 per shot right? And it consumes all shots when used so it would be 54 x 6 + (35%) = 467 on a single target with max stacks. The item description for storm surge says it only does 245. Did I do my math wrong? Or is it the 54 magic damage total? I am just genuinely confused lol
It charges 1 shot every 3 seconds = 18 seconds to charge fully. The initial shot does like 50 (+8% AP) ratio. If there are no other targets, it'll rehit the primary target for 35% of the original damage. So lets say you have 100 AP, your initial shot does 58 damage. The follow up shots would do an additional 100 (20 each) damage assuming no other targets. This would be 158 damage every 18 seconds. The nice part of casters is the build + haste and the additional waveclear it offers. It's not a terrible item, the CD is identical with your stun on Syndra so it actually makes sense.
Stormsurge in comparison gives you flat mpen, movespeed x2, and a 40% ap ratio (originally 50%). The cooldown is just significantly longer.
It’s crazy how the mana items are just so bad compared to literally any other ap item. I agree with the map changes but I do think most ap items have to much stats to have the affects basically storm surge is one of them and I have seen some assassin items go hard to as well as tanks getting giga tanks so it tanks 3 people to deal with them. But if they need some stuff I think it will be good overall. Like just the amp changes make up for all that and it’s pbe so hopefully they see some stuff being over used and look in to outing it one a watch list for when preseason comes out and then when people of equal skill go against each other they can see if it really is over power or just higher elo players where using it more.
I just think Stormsurge is too OP not to buy in comparison
@@Zianni I mean there is the problem I think it not balanced right now but like it’s the pbe do it should not be but I agree with the idea that not all champs have mana issues but I think if those item exists some champs have to and for this champs they should not I’m inherently worse because of that problem. It will get to be a problem when champs that need mana don’t buy those item because they are just worse. I also think that item has lot to it but I’m running my brain by old items more not new items and that might be the problem. New items run by new rules for op and bad. We need more testing with out the ult bug before we can certainly say some thing is op. Tho no madder what I do thing that item is good at least on burst mages.
@@davuvuvbro649 Battle Mages like Anivia/Ryze/Kassadin/Cassio will just build Roa/Seraphs without a doubt. It's just that syndra lends herself more so to the burst department of mages.

build looks nice but it gives absolutely 0 AH which feels bad but i guess i can just get used to it
This is definitely the BURST BURST build, you can still opt for the nemesis style build with something like Casters -> Lucidity -> Cosmic Drive
syndra is hard af, like when this guy is playing it looks easy but this champ is hard.

The meta shifted and they're basically unkillable in lane with infinite scaling. The keystone changes also overall lowered damage potential in early laning

So...let me get this straight, they took 5 MR off of Force of Nature's base stats, but then gave it *40* more to the passive and made it easier to proc (unless you're eating all of the CC)?

If I had a PBE account I'd check out the interaction with Shadowflame, Liandry's damage ramp up, Horizon's damage boost and Riftmaker's Bonus damage to true damage. I'd like to see if the boost is additive or multiplactive
