The Victims of Jack The Ripper were not actually sex workers, that's one of the biggest misconceptions and false facts about those poor women.
I watched a doco series, that looked into the lives of the women Jack murdered, and through these experts investigations, they revealed not one of these women were infact sex workers.

The original Poe Toaster was active from the 1930’s into the 1990’s and came in the dark, pre-Dawn hours. He was supposedly rarely seen nor caught on film. (Pre-social media for sure!) Almost like a phantom. The Toaster shown in video is a re-enactor.

I feel like the Poe Toaster is most likely deceased, given that was like 90 years ago now 2024. Good to see that his legacy and tradition is carried on

I read a biography of Rasputin written by one of his daughters. Definitely a different perspective on the man. Most bios ignore the fact he was married & had children back in Siberia.
I remember that I was in the military and over-seas at the time of the Tank man footage...even then we knew that if this dude survived, he wouldn't for long because of the communism in China... so yeah, they made him disappear pretty quick.
He would have been rounded up by the fascist police and dictatorship in China - who happen to be Communist - but that's irrelevant

Australia did the most Australian thing following Harold Holt’s disappearance….they named a swimming pool after him.
Harold Holt's disappearance isn't that mysterious, he probably got caught in a rift, and his body was sent out to sea.

Mr wiseau had a really strong point i believe by saying those words,that privacy is privacy and let the professional life in with its counterpart! sincerely doubt that, the Zodiac made a phonecall to police, the police woman said Allen's voice did not match, DNA from the letters the Zodiac sent did not match Allen, his handwriting did not match, and a policeman who saw the Zodiac run away from one of the scenes, said Allen was about 100 pounds too heavy than the man he saw, and his face was also too round.
He wasn’t the Zodiac killer, and even if he was, he certainly wouldn’t tell you.

They discovered the identity of DB Cooper. He was someone who works for the plane company in Pittsburgh. I don't remember all the details of the article, but he is dead now.
Harold Holt isn't a mystery he was swimming in a very dangerous unpatrolled area, with all the rips and currents if a swimmer becomes overwhelmed it's stranger if they are found then not. As for Shakespeare there are few people of his era that we know more about. Ben Johnson was a arguably more popular playwright at the same time as Shakespeare and we have no idea about the vast majority of details of his life or most of his works. Shakespeare is basically so beloved because of the publication of a folio of his works soon after his death so his work survived.
I doubt this is true but some say the Count of Saint Germain is still alive and that supposedly he is either an immortal or a vampire (and for those who may not know this he was also the inspiration for the character in the Castlevania games who has the same name.)

I find Harold Holt being included here a bit odd. Yes his disappearance was infamous but he’s not the first person to have gone missing for Victorian beaches and never be heard of again…

The odd thing about him is that after he died, presumably drowned. They named a swimming centre after him.
