When hundreds of millions of people barge into just 2-3 fields mindlessly, this is what you get. Nobody wants to innovate and be an entrepreneur. People were always unemployable. That belt just grew larger as people got richer in the past 10 years and left the lesser, informal job market which didn't need degrees. But there needs to be an upgrade path now. Not everybody is going to be an engineer or the best doctors etc.
If people will continue to hate business and listen to so called mass appealing statements of Rahul Gandhi (jitni abadi utna hak scam), they will remain unemployable. Youth itself is responsible for being unemployable. No school or college in world can keep up with rapidly changing world. So develop your skills and you will find there no shortage of good paying job. Government's job is to create an environment where market can flourish freely everyone have equal opportunity, which I believe NDA gov is doing.

Iam not sure from where the unemployment data comes from. Today we see more people having jobs with more cars on road, metros stations requiring ticketing clerks, security, Malls mushrooming everywhere, Swiggy , Zomato, Uber, Ola etc , infrastructure constructions etc. Are they being counted as unemployed. Are only the govt employees & people enrolled in PF counted as employed. There are more than 100 unicorns in India in last few years. So are they not employing people??

The youth is unemployable is not something that true from 10 years, after the corona lockdown our international market change and after the introduction of AI in market, companies are prioritizing quality over quantity. In our country's biggest institutes student are not given industry level skills as small companies cannot afford to train the students as the students might change company after a year that's why they are saying India has unemployable graduates. Stop ignoring the facts in her speech and being blind to facts. I am not BJP supporter or Congresss, just a student who knows whats going on in market
