I don't have COMT mutation but I have MTHFR, MTRR and AHCY mutations which can all affect SAMe. So, I assume that could prevent detox of estrogen. I do have CYP1B1 mutation as well. Right now I'm pretty good: 83% 2-OH, 10% 4-OH and 7% 16-OH.
I'm a 46 yr old man. Good shape. 190lbs My estrone and estradiol levels are normal but my estrogen total is over 950 on two blood readings. Gut issues with excreting estrogen perhaps? Any suggestions?

If you have high estradiol but already favor 2oh is it still ok to take DIM? And for how long before re testing?
What about the 16 OH pathway what can inhibit?
