Hi Julian, Haven't started blogging / affiliate marketing yet but making notes about each and every aspect of Blogging and Affiliate Mark. ( written almost a book by now ) and have come to the conclusion that Backlinks are more imp. than the blog itself. You are a great source of info. Hats off to you for having gathered so much knowledge about this topic and actually sharing it with us. Its a gold mine. One question Julian - the email funnel that chat gpt has given in this case nowhere mentions anything about requesting the recipient for Backlinks. Don't we need to put in a request for backlinks from our prospects ? Or is it just obvious to the recipient ?

EDIT: Found it. For anyone reading this, you need to type /summary first, to activate the possibility to summarize content of the page you're on.
Must relevant sites are actually direct competitors. For example, if you want to build a link for 'SEO' or 'contractor london', and you type those KW into Google, you will only get competing companies. So I don´t think they are going to build a backlink for you, even if you wanted to pay them... Am I wrong?

the email on the first outreach email template part doesn't make sense for me. It promote the article but does not ask for link, does not offer any benefit. The one shown on email sequence is much more make sense but you have something to offer there in exchange for the link so it's a transaction, not merely asking.
You have to make it win win with any negotiation, when you ask for something there must be some exchange of value in some way if you want to get free backlinks at scale

I tend to avoid link building from sites with high spam scores, mainly because clients don't like it. I haven't heard of a site receiving a penalty for high spam scores.
People just laugh at these emails no matter how well they are written. Successful outreach for links is rare. Links are high value commodities. Almost no one gives them free
