By releasing the more ballad song first they showed us just how good Seberiano is at holding an amazing groove and also let the other band members shine. With this one, it rocks and has groove, and show that they are tight together. I'm looking forward to some reactions on this bass player. That guy's got an amazing feel. The vocals remind me of Depeche Mode if they were a metal band. I think I'm in love man, this band is soooo good.

Structure, use of varying textures & dynamics to keep the listener's interest throughout, vocal delivery melodic & singalongable, that playful syncopation coming out of the breakdown into the palate cleansing light interlude... I'm not finding anything to dislike here. Between this & the first single, I'm now looking forward to buying the album when it appears. Given that Peter & Chris both went to Berklee's campus in Valencia Spain to do their jazz-leaning Masters (& thus met Jorge in Valencia), I'm confident they have depth of musicality & technical chops to take us down all sorts of interesting paths. ;)

You paused for your fourth right at the point I was about to bring up. Rew. to that freaking Bell strike to introduce the breakdown and just before the end of the break, you have that nasty little drag note on the guitar as the end accent like Jorge's Bell intro.
I was thinking of another three piece band. Chevelle. Vocal styling is much different, but musically and guitar tone wise I hear tons of early Chevelle in it.
The song is great, but I feel it's missing an intense, high-speed, melodic solo at the end. Don't get me wrong, I think the song is fantastic and I love its energy. And I agree with the Slipknot/Tool resemblance you mentioned. However, I believe that adding a good guitar solo at the end could really elevate the song and take it to another level. Some mix of "Petruccian/Mustainean" solo to bring the house down.
I want to first say it is a good song but i am not getting most of these comparisons. It dosent have the poly rythems or complexity rythmically of tool or rush. I dont hear any grohl in the vocals. It strongly puts me in mind of Sevendust's best stuff. Its great but i dont see how it is something unlike anything i ever heard before.
