I come from Bulgaria and I read before we have so much in common with Iranian (Persian) culture, food etc. Even our roots to some extend are connected with Iran. Not to mention even some of the words we use in today's Bulgarian language.

I recall riding in a VW Minibus going from Tehran to the Caspian Sea in August of 1969 going through Babol and Babolsar. The road was pretty curvy and I was amazed at the transition in climate. From Tehran it was dry and arid but as you went through the Elburz mountains, lush vegetation began to appear and everything in the opposite side was green. I believe they grow rice in that area near the Caspian Sea. You'll need to make a video in the summertime of that same trip.
