- When Brian Welch of the rock band Korn, visited Cathedral of Faith he asked if he could do one of his favorite worship songs with us. Here is the live recording of this incredible moment for our church. We pray this ministers Life, Hope. Grace and Love to you today.

Great song. We sing it at church. Love seeing Brian’s faith, fought addiction and so many demons. God bless him! He’s an inspiration. God know what he’s doing. 🙏🏻. God uses EVERYTHING for good for those that love him and are called to serve according to His purpose.

Shows Brian's maturity and growth. He is more flexible to serve than many believers that have grown up in the church for decades.

I love to see Brian's humility as a musician on display here. He's arguably one of the most accomplished guitar players ever, and yet he humbly plays such a simple and beautiful addition. He could have made his guitar part the focus, instead he plays for the song. He's a musician, through and through. I can even hear the 'Korn' influence in his clean tone here. He's truly an example of a redemption story of our Creator. Thanks for sharing.

Korn has more than 40 million records sold. seven albums are RIAA platinum; two are certified double platinum; one is certified triple platinum; one is certified five times platinum; and two are certified Gold. Korn has won so many awards there's a wikipedia page dedicated to it. sounds fairly accomplished to me.
Accomplished as a band and and as a musician fame and money but as individual guitar player is not right tag. Infact as single out guitar player he is not guitar wizard level...just a good musician for his genre atleast that's how I would describe .
This is awesome growing up in the 90s watching videos of Korn in MTV and now he is worshipping the Lord. I'd love to meet him.

Unfortunately Bethel is widely known as a false church and reckless love is unbiblical, many of the lyrics in it are unbiblical. People automatically trust what's in their music (because it sounds good) just like they trust the food they eat (because it tastes good) even when there is definitely poison in it.

During my time in Adult and Teen Challenge playing guitar on the worship team going to churches doing testimonies and playing a few songs.
Playing lead for this song was always my favorite and most fun.

God's love isn't reckless. He properly calculated its cost, even asked if there was any other way, for this cup to pass from Him (Matt 26:39).
It is purposeful with full understanding the cost, the reaction (His torture and death), and its outcome.

I believe you may be coming at this from a different aspect than me and that's awesome and I get where you are coming from. I see it like it says. God's love in are human words is completely reckless without abandon. Why? God shed his blood and suffered unspeakable pain for a guy like me! That my friend I believe is the definition of a reckless act. It's not reckless without care or concern. It's reckless because of the mercy that he has on this undeserving sinner. Jesus never said " If you do what I feel wrong, I will stop loving you" Jesus is love first and foremost. It is taught that there will be consequences Good and Bad for our actions here in this place. Just before God slams the gavel in Judgement Christ with the scars from the spikes still bleeding Say's No! By My blood he is saved. Super Reckless love and complete Rock Star

If it wasn't for the Lord Jesus Christ Almighty & his Beautiful unconditional love I'd be dead. I have lived an extremely hard life. I'm a survivor of s r a & it started at the age of 2 & it didn't stop till I was 10. And when I told the person who was supposed to be my protector they didn't believe me! I thought I was going to die. But the Lord Jesus sent ppl to take me away from that. And then I went to live with another person who was supposed to be my protector & he beat me & my step brother & sister. So then I went to live with my grandparents who finally protected me at the age of 15. But sadly at this time I was very angry & I was so bad. And it was at that time I started smoking cigarettes & smoking pot & drinking. And then that led to me doing coke & trippin face. It was really bad but I wanted to live for me & do what I wanted to do. And then I got pregnant at 20 & my family wouldn't let me keep him. They wanted me to get an abortion but I wouldn't. So I gave him up for adoption. Which was the absolute worst part of my life bcuz when they drove away with my beautiful baby boy in their suv a huge part of me died. And all I wanted to do was make the pain go away. But nothing was working until I found heroin. It was the greatest feeling I've ever felt. But I didn't know what it was gonna do to me while I was using. I did it for like 3 days & the 4th day when I didn't have any I was sicker than I've ever been. I had to go to the hospital for then to help me stop puking & the diarrhea was ridiculous. My body literally felt like someone was ripping out my guts & pouring acid on them & then putting them back in my body!! So needless to say I kept getting high & when sniffing didn't work. I went straight to the needle & that's when it was off to the races!! This was the start of a 12 year long binge that caused me to OD 2 times. And I never understood why the Lord Jesus brought me back both times. My husband wanted to stop but the beast inside of me didn't. So we kept using. I hated who I became & I hated what I was doing to get the $$ to get high. It was terrible viscous circle of lies & pain all in one! I finally got tired of living & i I wanted to just shoot up & never wake up again. But the Lord Jesus had other plans for me. I finally wanted to stop but I couldn't fo it on my own. So I cried out to the Lord Jesus Christ Almighty & i begged him for his help. And the very next day I was on my way to cop & there's this chick who always sat outside of her house on Cambria & Ruth street in Kensington Philly & she'd talk ish about ppl. And she called me a crackhead & I flipped out. My husband tried to tell me to forget & lets go cop & get better. But back then I loved to fight. So I walked up to her & I hit her & she pulled my hair. My hair is down past my butt & someone used to pull my hair while he was r*ping me when I was little. And that makes me see red & I snapped. Her husband got scared & went to get an dang umbrella to hit me with! And my husband made sure he didn't touch me. There were ppl behind me screaming but I can't hear anything when I'm fighting. And I get tackled by cops & get arrested. Here this chick was an off duty cop but she never said anything about that. If she did I would've left it alone. So I get to the jail & they did a pregnancy test & it came back positive!!! So not only did the Lord Jesus Christ Almighty save me but he saved my unborn son too!! He just turned 20 on May 8th & I've been clean n sober for almost 20 years now! And I've been following the Lord Jesus for over 13 years now. And now I know why he brought me back those 2 times I ODED. And to whoever is reading this if you're struggling with trying to fill that void that's deep inside of you with everything except Jesus plz take it from me & just Repent & give your life to Jesus Christ Almighty now bcuz you'll save yourself a lot of pain & sorrow & time lost that you'll never get back. Thanks for posting this song it blessed me & it reminded me of the Amazing & Loving Father that we serve. I cry every single time I hear bcuz I just love & adore my Lord Jesus Christ Almighty so much. He's always been there for me i just didn't know it back then! Abba Father I live for you now & i always will! You never gave up on me & I'll never give up on you! I love you more than my own life🙏🏻🛐✝️🕊️🌈💪🏻👑🙌🏻🤲🏻❤️🔥🪖🛡️🗡️🥾

The idea of reckless isn’t about God or His love for us. It’s actually the fact that we can’t fathom how Perfect God is in every way and yet died for us filthy sinners who were once His enemies. He didn’t die for us after we said yes to Him. In died despite of!!!! And in our finite minds we cannot comprehend just how big, how wide, how deep the Love of Abba is for us that we call it reckless. Because who do you call an enemy and yet die for them so they could be saved? For me to give my life for my enemies life would be considered reckless in our minds. But GOD!!!! Thank you Jesus, I hope this brought clarity. I pray that Holy Spirit may continue to give us His wisdom and knowledge so we can have a deeper relationship with Him. God bless you!

its just poetic imagery to convey a point. If it were us to leave the 99 for 1...most would consider that to be "reckless" or not wise...of course God is not reckless ..its just highlighting the fact that His ways are not our ways. blessings

But God goes after the lost… then he uses some of the people with the worst backgrounds and stories to accomplish the most!!!! Look at Paul… the man who murdered Christians and hunted followers of “the way”… he became a prominent writer of the Bible in your home… it’s a way of conveying that God dosnt look at your deeds or who you are but what he can do through you with a willing heart.

God’s love leads us into seasons of life that would seem reckless to the world. God is not, and never has been, reckless. There was a lamb slain before the foundation of the world.
God is a God of order and plans and foresight from one end of eternity to another.
The world thinks it’s reckless when they see it from the outside. We trade everything for a life of faith. To the unsaved that seems reckless.
To the saved it feels like peace beyond understanding or description.
